Everyone says it, I know, but get the Monte Cristo .. Just make sure you share it otherwise you're rolling out of New Orleans Square. Otherwise get the French Onion soup and frites . Call it good there.
Eat here. Where else can you sit and enjoy a beautiful meal, listen to live Jazz , watch a paddle boat come up the river , see a pirate ship in the distance and watch a river calmly float by. Eat!
You can easily split the Monte Cristo , and the gumbo was AMAZING. Definitely worth the money folks.
"The monte cristo sandwich is the biggest culprit in my battle with weight gain, and no one makes it better than Café Orleans in Disneyland. I know what you're saying, but trust me."- Eric Greenspan Read more
Seafood options were good here, soup and salad were nice also. Staff were very friendly . A bit pricey but expected being inside the park
Was able to go on a $40 dinner date in Disneyland! That's amazing, especially given the great food. Share the gumbo to start, and get any entree. It's all amazing food.
My wife like the steak for lunch . I had and lobster salad which was okay, lobster was a skimpy portion. The sleeper hit was the chicken and sausage gumbo that they served as the soup of the day.
Monte Crisco is delicious....be sure to share, as it is a lot of food for one person. Be sure to have beignets for dessert . Reservations are needed on busy days.
We went to Ariel's grotto for breakfast , blue bayou for lunch , and this by far was the most satisfying worth the money food we had! The garlic fries are amazing!
Monty Cristo sandwiches with a Pommes Frites appetizer then just sit back and enjoy being at Disneyland, the atmosphere, and the experience.
Try to avoid the first 2 tables by the entry on a cold night, the ceiling fan cools things down 10 degrees. Door must stay open & fan on. Watched 2 groups move w/in 2 minutes of seating in late NOV
The Monte Cristo and the pommes frites are so good! Definitely can be shared by two
The Monte Cristo sandwich is like a huge donut , actually. It is very filling! Consider sharing with someone. (:
The mint julep is amazing--all it needs is some vodka :). Traditional monte cristo hands down with gumbo and pommes frites as an appetizer . Share it all unless you're a hungry hungry.
I love the beignets , but bring some hungry friends because they come in a big stack.
If you can get in here to get the beignets do it. Between them and the French Onion soup it's worth the trouble.
The Deep Fried Grilled 3 Cheese may give you one a heart attack, but at least you'll die happy. YUM!
The gumbo is AMAZING!!!! And.served only there, not at the bread boule gumbo across from it. Learned the hard way. :'( and the pomme frittes(sp?) Were amazing! Their garlic doesnt 'burn' like others!
You can't pass up on the Monte Cristo Sandwich . Forget about the 3 cheese version and get the original with swiss cheese , turkey , ham with a berry puree.
Share the Monte Cristo . It is very sweet and you get four cuts. I could only eat two and a half before it was just too much sugar.
Monte Cristo sandwich & Fried Green Tomato sandwiches are the way to go!
The gumbo here is the same amazing gumbo as Blue Bayou, except 1/3rd the price, and you can get a bowl as an entree.
The monte cristo is insanely huge. I loved the pomme frites . A bit expensive , $15-20pp not including a drink.
Delicious Parmesan garlic fries , the Monte Cristo Sandwich was out of this world!

Definatly get the pomme frittes . My favorite thing to get!!
The Monte Cristos are HUGE! Might wanna split it!

The blackened chicken sandwich was delightful. Reasonable portion and very flavorful without being too spicy .
Monte Cristo Sandwich is awesome probably enough to share.
They make mint juleps there. Its not on the regular menu. Order it though. You will not regret it. They are delicious.
The N'awlins veggie ragout with salmon is great. The polenta corn cakes are incredible.
The Monte Cristo sandwich is like a giant beignet stuffed with meat and cheese .
The Monte Cristo just leaves you speechless...soooo good! Have an empty stomach, because you'll be full.
When in #neworleans square at @disneyland, you have to get the Monte Cristo . Yummmm
The three cheese Monte Cristo lets vegetarians enjoy one of New Orleans Square's staples.
We didn't heed the warnings about how much food the Monte Cristo is. It's definitely a dish for two!
Try the Monte Cristo or the gumbo . Good food for a decent price.
Café Orleans prices are much cheaper than Blue Bayou and they serve the same things :)
Had a wonderful French onion soup here, good is really good
THE MONTE CRISTO IS TO DIE FOR.
The steak was pretty good ????
Great gumbo . The pumpkin beignets were alright. Nice service.
