Take your seat in a gloomy Doom Buggy for a spooky tour through this house of happy haunts.

A total classic for the park , but it's even more fun during the fall-winter. Try looking up the history on the ride and story behind it all while in line !
Every Halloween the mansion features a new completely edible ginger bread house on the table in the main dinning room. Make sure you spot it. The cast eats it after the holidays!.
In order to beat the crowds inside, once you enter the elevator stand closest to the wall facing the other elevator . Then at the bottom the doors will open right in front of you and you'll be first.
Always charming and a must do if you haven’t been there. I prefer the old style to the Halloween set up though.
Quite possibly my favorite ride. If you enjoy anything Halloween related, you will love this! Oct-Dec THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS takes over making it even better. Make this a top choice!
Visit after Thanksgiving for Nightmare Before Xmas theme. Turn long waits into photo opportunities . Keep eyes open for hidden gems . At end sit on ends to see your passenger ghost best
Make sure you make a visit during Halloween thru January. You will not want to miss the "Nightmare before Christmas ". For the 13th Anniversary they added some cool new things ;-) 2013
Hands down my favorite Disney attraction ! Delightfully creepy but not scary. Make sure to look in every nook & cranny so you don't miss any details!
During the Nightmare Before XMas set up, take notice to Sandy Claws Naughty/Nice list. You'll notice Tim's (Tim Burton) name is the only name on the list that has a skull & crossbones next to it.
Hidden Mickey SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!..... As you enter the attic (the room with the bride after the ballroom ) look in the lower half of the clock, it's a Hidden Mickey ! Happy hunting!
Opened in 1969, this was one of Walt's favorite creations, though he never saw it completed. This Haunted Mansion has nine-hundred, ninety nine happy haunts , but there's always room for a thousand.
One of my favorite rides here in Disneyland! Unfortunately they were closed due to decorations going up for Halloween . They'll be up and running on 9/12 though!
The best ride in the park ! If there is a line be sure to get the fast pass for it. Also be sure to fill in all the DEAD space!!
I prefer to ride this attraction in the twilight hour or later. It's a much better attraction once your eyes have relaxed and adjusted from being blinded by the sun all day.
Great fun any time of year. Late September to early January you can enjoy the "Nightmare Before Christmas " version as well . Nice change up for the holidays!
The best time to go on this ride is around Halloween or Christmas . They change it up for the holidays. So worth waiting for
Probably one of the bigger bummers at Disneyland. Perhaps for kids, it will be a little scary and thrilling
This is my favorite attraction of all time. The traditionalist in me wanted to hate the Nightmare theme, but I really enjoyed it.
The Disneyland resort adds a special twist to this classic attraction from early September to late December. This is the only Disney park in the world that features this twist.
If you're sitting on the left-hand side of the buggy more of the skeletons in the graveyard will pop out at you (3-4 during the total length of the ride).
The Nightmare Before Christmas version of this attraction during the holidays is not as spooky as the usual Haunted Mansion. Fun for Tim Burton fans, but sort of a letdown from the typical experience
Pretty tame for a haunted house ride, but it such a classic and you have to admire the attention to detail.
This attraction gets rethemed for Halloween and Christmas and it's beautiful!
Head to this attraction at night. Your eyes take awhile to adjust to the darkness and you won't be able to see the immense detail in the mansion.
Find the hidden "red"Mickey in the stained glass in the "elevator " when you walk in look to the 1:00 position of the room for the panel. Hmm this might be for holiday only I forget.
The only time of year you can see the library own in the ballroom scene is during Halloween and Christmas , keep an eye out for it.
Say hello to all the Happy Haunts including Mr. Disney himself!
Your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis.
Every year for Haunted Mansion Holiday they make a different REAL gingerbread house. Early on in the Halloweentime season, you can still smell the fresh gingerbread when you enter the dining room
Loved it! They do a Nightmare Before Christmas theme which is amazing!
Although it is fun throughout the year... You must visit the mansion during Halloween/Christmas! Read more
Haunted Mansion is an absolute classic. The new Hatbox Ghost is great!
Closes annually in September and January for a week or two usually to put up and take down the Nightmare Before Christmas theming .
During Halloween is super popular and makes the New Orleans square overly busy. Decorated for Nightmare before Christmas and
They turn the HM into the Nightmare Before Christmas from Sept until the end of the 1st week of Jan. This year (early 2012), the enhancements were spectacular!
The nightmare before Christmas setup ruined this ride for me! Skip it during the holiday season. Awesome during the rest of the year!
One of the greatest classic Disneyland attractions . Not to be missed.
Throughout the day, during October you can catch the Cadaver Dans perform your favorite spooky toons, a capella!
Haunted Mansion will open up as Haunted Mansion Holiday featuring The Nightmare Before Christmas characters on September 14!!
Classic, but Haunted Mansion Holiday from September-Jan is the best!
[BFGF] pro tip: when the lights go out in the portrait room, everybody scream!!
There's a hidden Mickey on the elevator ceiling.
I love haunted stuff, the decoration is awesome
Classic ride and is nightmare before Christmas themed during Halloween and Christmas .
When ur 1st escorted in2 the Grand Foyer tell the Cast Member that u want a "Death Certificate " & give them yr name or the name of a member of yr party. U get it @ the end, so cool!
The initial elevator part is good but the rest is very tacky and would probably suit children best.
It's a pretty good ride but I actually like it better during winter when the ride becomes "Nightmare before Christmas " themed.
If the line is long, play the scavenger hunt on the "Wishing Stars" Free GPS Scavenger Hunt App for smart phones.
The Haunted House changes to a Nightmare before Christmas theme in the Fall. Look for Zero's tombstone out front before you enter.
Wave your hand in front of the person watching the cars go by and they'll scare you later. Epic!
Fun, relaxing ride. One of the better dark rides in the park. I do wish they'd cut back some of the Jack Sparrow content, though. - Erika Robbins
Authentic Cajun food New Orleans style... Jambalaya and gumbo is to die for - Zachariah Cooney
Excellent ride! The line moves fairly quickly, so I wouldn't bother getting a fast pass. - Sarah Tippins
It's a great ride. Def a must whenever you're in the park. Get a fastpass though...lines are always long. - Sam Aceves
So much fun for adults. Make sure you spin around! - Jim McDermott
Great starter roller coaster for kids seeking a little bit more than a kiddie ride. - Brett Salzer
So fun, great way to cool off. Super long line during the summer days, so i would go at night. Sit in the front and you get soaked (like me :)) - ʗɑrsօɳ ♫ ϻყєrs
Little to no waiting and a great AC. Great for hot days and a chance to rest your feet. - Christine Accetta
