Nash's House and New Place is a history museum Stratford-upon-Avon located in United Kingdom.
22 Chapel St Stratford-upon-Avon Warwickshire CV37 6EP United Kingdom
New place was where Shakespeare died in 1616. It was demolished by a Reverend but its foundations can still be seen. Nash House, next door, was owned by Shakespeare's granddaughter.
Like all the birthplace trust sites around Stratford this is well worth a visit. Informative, atmospheric and fascinating with child-friendly activities too.

Very informative historical site. Calm, quiet gardens to walk through. - Kate Ellsworth
Very well done. The museum doesn't rush you through, and they have workers dressed in traditional garb that explain, in depth, various aspects of life in the time of Shakespeare. A definite must see! - courtney schiela
You're better off dressing up a wax candle at home. More fun. Better value. - Guy Jefferson
For a very fair price, the backstage tours are well worth it for anyone with an interest in theatre. Very extensive and last just over an hour. Worth booking beforehand. Members discount available. - Sam Osborne
Beautiful picture postcard type English thatched cottage. A must visit. Can be visited with the 5 Shakespeare houses ticket or individually. - Carl Griffin
