Excellent espresso served by people who really care about coffee . Accompanied by a good food selection like salt beef bagels . Cool location too in one of the small alleyways of the City .
Definetly among the top 3 espressos that I ever had. Wonderful flavour and body balance from their own roasting. The minimalist design and the quite atmosphere are also spot on. Must try. 9.5/10
The best espresso in London ? Quite possibly. Very friendly staff , keen to share their passion for great coffee . Lots of different brew options, and choice of beans. Superb.
Arguably the best coffee in London (maybe 2nd to Taylor St). The definition of coffee snobbery, so don't ask for soy or sugar.
Nice little coffeeshop not far from St.Paul's Cathedral . With great variety of beans and brewing methods it is a fantastic place for any coffee geek .
Stellar single origin coffee (V60 ) and espresso . Had a fantastic cup from Ethiopia. Piles of sweet and savory bites, as well . Best espresso in this part of London.
It is very cosy small coffe shop with delicious single malt coffee and polite staff . We've been there for quick coffee half an hour before they close and we get 2for1 cake price.
Not far off from St Paul's, Alchemy features knowledgeable staffs who takes their time to explain the rotating beans on offer. The ordering system is odd, and is based on size rather than type.
Friendly people who are ready to talk about the variety of coffee making techniques on offer (aeropress , v60 , etc). A good selection of filter coffee on offer along with beans + grinding.
Best espresso for me {opus - acidity of mandarin , cocoa , almond }. Very good cold brew . You must try .
Unusual concept. You can't get your regular lattes/flat whites etc here - you choose your coffee blend, size, and whether you want milk or not, and they serve it at the 'optimal' temperature
The best espresso I have ever tasted, what a well-balanced flavour! Also one of the best latte arts I have ever seen on my cappuccino . Highly recommended!
Avocado toast was great - they got my order wrong (which is surprising given there are only a choice of 3 sizes), but really, who cares when the coffee is good and the milk well stretched!
It gets crowded in the small space in the morning, as expected of all good coffee joints. Limited counter-style seating for abt 10 people
Brilliant coffee , exquisitely charming little spot. Try the cold brew coffees , over ice.
Very nice. Great cakes that differ from others. Really good high q. coffee . Rather cheap .
Great coffee for the enthusiast. I had the batch made filter which was deliciously fruity . The lemon and blueberry cake was to die for.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff who know what they're talking about. Cool/trendy vibe and killer banana bread . A coffee lovers dream.
Loved everything about this cafe , the space, staff and ofc the coffee
The coffe it's excellent, awesome flavor. Cakes are also great, fry the carrot one.
Reminds me of Monmouth Coffee . Good and rich flavours rather than the new trend for floral tea like coffees . Nice to see / sip.
Carter Lane now has another new coffee shop . Well worth checking out. Good coffee , friendly staff and a selection of gadgets and coffee making methods for geeks like me.
Very nice coffee in a relaxed hidden place . Only some barstools along the window, but not too busy. Good for a quick standing meeting.
Cozy place, great coffee and good treats!
Grab a cold brew coffee for a delicious chilled pick-me-up. It's pre-bottled on the counter (but they'll want the bottle back).
Very nice espresso , takes Apple Pay, has bathroom and six different cakes . Tiny, tiny location.
some say the best espresso in London ! my choice is simple cappuccino and almond croissant , thank you!
They sell their coffee by volume, not your choice of bean or how strong/diluted/milky u prefer your coffee to be ????
Excellent coffee , friendly service , well worth a little walk here if your by St Paul's and need a caffeine fix.
Great single estate espresso and Aeropress/V60 filter coffee from knowledgable coffee geeks -My favourite coffee shop
Good coffee . Standard double shot, £2,40 for an espresso . They gave us a free cookie with our coffee . ????
Absolutely worth cueing for. They are happy to give you a free sample if you're buying beans.
One of the best third wave coffee I've had, wish there were wifi and toilet though
An ever changing choice of tasty coffee . Delicious cakes and savoury bites too.
Like being able to choose from a wide range of sizes, including refreshingly small. Skillfully made from good ingredients.
Such a great coffee shop . Definitely the best coffee in the area.
Choice of espresso beans , multiple methods of brewing. Coffee geek heaven!
Coffee is strong, strong or strong! Such a great place with nice home bakes!
Great coffee (and wonderful peppermint tea too), & friendly staff . What more could you need!
Knowledgable friendly staff and good coffee
fantastic cold brew , excellent flat whites
Excellent specialty coffee .
Cozy place with great coffee
Great coffee from really knowledgeable staff . A City gem!
Espresso with milk , nice options. Trendy cafe .
Great authentic Jamaican food ! Very popular at lunchtimes
Top notch for coffee geeks . Single estate , blends, aeropress , the works.
Coffee , regular changing espressos always good.
Perfect 4 ounce with milk
Awesome coffee and friendly staff .
Fantastic coffee! One of my fave latte's in London. Try their iced latte in summer, with a dash of sugar syrup = perfection! - Kazz C
This is my local. Amazing beans on aeropress & v60 pourovers, great vibe, friendly (& good looking!) staff, hip decor, best sandwiches. Enough said. Lantana-whaaat? - Daniel C.
Creamy and sweet flat white. Excellent selection of coffee making gear. Barista courses. Effortlessly hip. - Michael Hadwin
It's free, a lot of space, very nice exhibitions for every taste. One of the best art galeries I've ever visited - Peter van Kampen
It's a lot of steps but a fantastic view. Highly recommend the climb. But don't forget to visit the crypt downstairs too! - Robert Accettura
The best Caffè Latte! Tried out their Long Black and their Caffè Latte. Both really good, the black coffee still had some foam on top! :-) The Latte is a dream! This one was the best I ever had - Andrew Long
