Love this ride but it feels like we're a herd of cattle going through until you get to the cars and then have to instantly be single file. Maybe organizing the line sooner would make it more enjoyable
With the addition of Fastpass+ the line splits on two. You now MUST go through the graveyard if you do nit have a FP. If you have one, you will bypass the graveyard unless requested.
Pay attention to the last grave by the door as you enter, you can see its eyes move and breath. Remember to watch for shadows on the floor once inside :)
The building itself is cute with interactive features before the ride. The ride itself is pretty good one of my favorite. "This is your host your ghost host"
I'm a big fan of the mansion and I get it. But please don't recite along with the ghost host. It's annoying and you ruin the atmosphere for those experiencing it for the first time.
I always enjoy this Ride. It has the spooky atmosphere, even the workers ????. I highly recommend it, it is suitable for adults and kids.
Good one to do either standby or FP. FP shortens wait. But standby has interactive que that's ton of fun for all ages!
This used to be my favorite ride. It is a little scary, a little funny, and there are cool details everywhere you look. I love the dueling paintings and the stretching elevator .
The new magic photo is top notch. The wait is covered and they have a interaction area to help with the wait time. Don’t take flash photos on the ride RUINS IT FOR EVERYONE.
Great overall experience. Nice mix of mystery and surprise. Really like this ride!
The wait is worth your while as the haunted mansion never goes out of style. Some of it is haunting and daunting. However, some ghosts are friendly and laughs will be plenty.
This is the single best attraction in all of Walt Disney World. I know some people will feel differently. But they are wrong.
Look at all the items while going through the queue, as each thing is used to present the story of the ride your about to go on.
When you go into the room with no doors and no windows - stand near the cast member so when they open the secret door - you get in line for the ride first!
Never gets old. You see something new every time, especially if the ride stops. Like, did you ever notice the ghosts in the pics (top left of ballroom ) duel and shoot each other?
My favorite attraction in Magic Kingdom. Make sure to grab fastpass plus for this or wait until the fireworks when nobody is there.
Over the years, the additions made to this ride and the interactive pieces in the queue have greatly improved the experience from what it was when I was younger.
Fantastic. A great creepy atmosphere, but fun and not too scary for little kids. A must-see classic that holds up.
The new interactive cemetery is super fun! Go through it! And don't forget to head over to the wall with the young girls portrait, that's the door that opens ;)
Look for the Jack Skellington face above the eye of the dude in the portrait above the fireplace as soon as you get in the first room. (Before the room that stretches...)
It is one of the best. It is also a great ride where you can sit down and cool off on a hot day.
Are you disabled? You no longer miss out on the stretch room! You can go straight through the regular line like everyone else! This means you'll get to check out the new interactive graveyard !
Hey Jacksons, Master Gracey welcomes you. Enjoy the new interactive queue and endless staircase scene. Also, be on the look-out for the infamous Hatbox Ghost . Hurry ba-ack...
Love the new interactive ghosts . Fun ride at night but the change from bright light to darkness during the day makes it spookier.
One of the best rides at Disney the people that lead you are awesome with their creepy costumes definitely one of my favorites
My 11 year old thought it was whack. Nothing to be scared about here. Good job with the creative tho, however, it def could've been a lot spookier!
Not as haunted as I had hoped. A good length of ride though. Amazing what they can do with all of the special effects.
You seem to not have a choice now when riding stand-by, you must go through the cometary. This is to accommodate the fast pass plus system.
One of the only hidden Donalds. Look for the abstract Donald on the chair of the endless hallway with the floating candles.
My personal favorite ride. Some things are spooky and noisy , but there no jump scares, so it's always been okay for our kids.
Great place to sprinkle the ashes of your loved ones.
The new Hitchhiking ghosts are amazing. Make sure to stroll thru the Graveyard queue and enjoy the interactions with the tombs.
Don't forget your death certificate.
A Disney icon, this mild haunted house is fun for almost everybody, but kids afraid of the dark won't care for it.
Look for the bride's ring on the ground of the cemetery to the right of the captain behind the trash can.
There are actually 3 hidden mickey in the haunted manson, plates on the table are not hidden mickeys . Look in grave yard on right u will see a crypt with grimm reaper (top hand is hidden mickey )
There's something wonderful and cheesy and tacky and brilliant about this ride. A must do.
The five busts at the beginning of the new cemetery area compose a riddle. Use the clues in the poems and hidden on the busts to figure out who killed whom.
The party ghost @ the table with the crown on his head: that animatronic is used at 4 other places in Pirates. See if you can find him.
When waiting in line , choose the left fork that snakes through the graveyard for some interactive fun with the monuments . Helps keep kids occupied while waiting.
Haunted, dusty, and centrally air conditioned . If the schools are okay, we'll take it.
I wish they would let you choose between walking through the garden and going straight in again. Dang fast pass lane
They need to do something about the madness after they let you out of the expanding room. It's a mad dash funnelling into a single line . Could be better. Be ready to run once they open that door!
If your kids are anxious about the spookiness of Haunted Mansion point out the humorous aspects of the ride or go on Pirates of the Caribbean to prepare them.
Try and find the hidden Jack Skellington's throughout the attraction ... They're so much fun to look for!
Miss Renata only comes out to visit with guests during MNSSHP. Don't miss her on the bench on the way into Gracey Mansion.
Loved this ride! I can see it being scary for kids under 7 but it was really fun.
A 105 minute queue for what has to be the lamest attempt at a haunted house ever. The most dangerous part is after being herded like cattle getting into a moving car. If you 6ft and over watch out.
My favorite ride. Not fast, not scary but fun.
Just go for it if you don't have anything else to do; or if you want to kill time before your next show.
The best place to rest!!! Confortable and cold!! - Evandro Stanger
The salmon roll is really good! Worth the 10 bucks. - Katherine Harris
The dinner family style was amazing.. best food and ya expensive but you get the quality you pay for!! - Ryan Denney
great job with the refurbish! still the best and worth any wait! - Jennifer Herbs
It's an original and never gets old. Originally ride at Disney and have been going all my life. I wonder how much change is at the bottom of the floor. - Richard Revilla
Great starter roller coaster. My 6 year old daughter loved it. - Jeff Babinski
Fortunately, the recent additions of Jack Sparrow were done sparingly and tastefully. The ride is still as I remember it as a child. - Greg S.
Fantastic! We sat in the middle, 5 rows back. Very well done and the kids loved it. I found myself laughing like a little kid myself. A must see. - Stuart Hanley
