Adorable place with guide included to the entrance ticket
Excavated castle in the basement of the palace (the building there before this one) was interesting. Ticket sales close an hour before close time.
Excellent tour and our guide was pleasant and informative.

The changing of the guards: 12:15 Mon-Sat & 13:15 Sun. Stand outside the courtyard for a better view, see them coming up the hill. The first 5 min are the best, more extravagant during summer months. - StockholmOurWay
