Simple, fresh, delicious food at a reasonable price, served in a cozy setting. Feels like a home cooked meal with all the neighbours. If I lived here this would definitely be a fave.

David Hu

Despite what the name may lead you to believe, this is an amazing Italian restaurant (it apparently used to be a deli ). They serve all the classics, sure you'll find something you like.

Katie Gambini

Cozy , neighborhood spot for a weeknight dinner or date. Love the pappardelle ai funghi and Sardinian short pasta . And don't forget the tiramisu or chocolate mousse !

Bin Yang

Start with a big meat/cheese board then move on to the house made pastas . The daily specials are usually my go to, the last time I had a bottarga/clam spaghetti with white wine sauce - perfecto!

Nikki Sylianteng

Totally exceeded my expectations, such a pleasant experience. Passed my Goldilocks standards. Lasagna was nicely portioned -- not too Garfield huge. Brooklyn Heights feels like a snow globe town .

Kevin Skobac

The Malloredus Sardi Alla Campidanese was delicious - still thinking about the sauce. So we're the muscles , if you like some spice in the broth. Cash only , but good prices.

Alex Rainert

The name lulls you into thinking this is just another deli when in fact it's some of the best rustic italian food in Brooklyn. Great pastas . Laid back atmosphere too. Go here.

Kyle Bye

Quaint and cozy Italian restaurant nestled at the corner of Joralemon and Columbia Pl. The lasagna , burrata , and pasta dishes were amazing!

Nikki W.

Pasta is amazing and they have great prices. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I would recommend pasta and tuna dish- delicious! Remember it's cash only - figure $60/person. Drink included

Isa Sierra

Very delicious omelettes and charming atmosphere. The staff is also lovely.

Marc Mayer

First things first. Put some burrata in your face. Then, maybe grab some pappardelle . If there's a fish special, especially a Bronzino , eat that. It's fish , so no regrets, right?

karen bonna rainert

Get the trophie pasta . It's a specialty from Northern Italy that's hard to find in most Italian restaurants . It's light and delicious for a pasta dish.

Jeremy Wilcox

A great restaurant with a deceptive name... it's actually specializes in really quaint Italian dishes (not your usual Olive Garden fare). Came here for brunch , and had excellent trophie al pesto .

David Blackman

Good rustic Italian food in an intimate space . Somehow never has a wait for dinner but also always just crowded and lively enough inside.

The Corcoran Group

Warm and inviting restaurant with a simple menu and great service. We recommend the Ravioli Di Ricotta E Spinaci Al Burron E Salvia – it’s delicious and fun to pronounce. Cash only .

Yera Ha

This place is my new obsession. Beautiful, quaint, fairly priced . The lasagna was delicious. Try the drink of the night!

Michael Anthony

One of my favorite little neighborhood restaurants . I really wish I lived closer to this place, because it was that good. Get the bruschetta and lasagna .

Francesca Masia

One of the top restaurants in the whole nyc. Malloreddus served with canonau wine is a must! Great service and great crowd. My fave :)

Audra Coulombe

Delicious. Tastes like Italian home food. You think you don't want to get the chicken at a place like this because everything looks awesome, but get the chicken .

Shah

Beautiful spot with unusually great Italian food . Also great brunch from those who want to avoid that typical boring egg-filled fare.

Denis Mahon

One of the best experiences I've ever had. Phenomenal food, friendly staff and charming atmosphere. Single downside - cash only .

Jenna Drapkin

my friends and i have dreams about the malloredus pasta . great wines and their meat&cheese plate is a great value !

Mark Tanno

My go to neighborhood brunch place . The pancetta omelette is great as well as the strawberry pancake special.

Oz Lubling

Great little Brooklyn heights treasure. The dinner features some really nice and authentic italian/Sardinian cuisine. The brunch is pretty tasty as well .

Great value for money , one of the best bruschetta , very good coffee , super friendly staff

Gianna Nebbia

I love how casual the place is. A total neighborhood spot with delicious no fuss food

Amanda Rella

Cute little restaurant on one of the nicest streets in Brooklyn Heights. Unfortunately food did not live up to the excellent atmosphere. Nothing special about the food but the prices are very good.

Julius Tarng

Pasta pasta . Come here for lunch on a weekend - no wait. Cash only ! Pane e frattau is super good

Carl Martin

My favourite restaurant in Brooklyn, hands down. Wonderful ambiance, food and service. Exceptional.

The staff is wonderful, and the specials are delicious and creative.

Classic Lasagna is good, reminds me of home. Tagliatelle is also very good.

Ask Jean Paul for a recco, he never disappoints. Sardinian reds are a must. Specials are delish (yay fish stew ) and, they have Sol! Yummers x quabillion! So nice.

Michelle Wiles

Location > food. But it’s an Uber cute spot and the food isn’t bad.

Colton Staab

Such a cute neighborhood spot . The all of the pastas we ordered were delicious

Janelle J.

Wonderful Sardinian restaurant in the food dead zone known as Brooklyn Heights. Their Panna cotta is delicious.

Michael Li

This neighborhood Scicilian find is just off the beaten path. The lamb tagliatelle is amazing.

Lilo Wittenborn

Oh my gosh the mozzarella buffalo and the ricotta and spinach ravioli are amazing.

Michael Marranzini

Everything is good here.

Carl Collins

Such a solid joint - Sardinian ! Enjoy a wine from their home region!

The best pasta in the Heights, maybe in all of Brooklyn. Amazingly subtle dishes.

Everything here is good, especially their specials. Cash only .

Laura LEE

Excellent food, good prices, great neighborhood ! Be prepared for a long wait , though.

Brent Lawless

Awesome Italian food at a great price. Cash only

Courtney Reimer

You MUST have the mussels . You think you've had mussels , but you haven't until you've had the perfectly cooked, perfectly garlicky mussels at River Deli.

Brendan Hasenstab

Genius pappardelle with mushrooms , and perhaps the most unusual ATM I've ever seen!
