Calm , beautiful lake . Completely surrounded by thick trees and vegetation , which makes for a lovely setting, and pretty reflection photos.
4.4 miles up and down. A quiet hiking trail in Whatcom County . For the most part the trail is pretty uphill to reach the location. A great place to take a swim once you've reached the lake .

After you’ve gone about a mile up the trailhead, veer left for 0.2 miles to this gorgeous viewpoint of the Sound and various islands. It’s a short and very rewarding detour. - Kaitlin
