Get a room with a view ! It's worth it! The hotel is at a great location , right between the Seattle Center Waterfront and Pikes Place.
Very good hotel , loved to wake up with the waves and hundreds of ducks on my window, getting warm with a nice fireplace .
Check out the Wall of Fame in the lobby! As a road warrior this is my favorite hotel , only place with a working fireplace I have stayed at.
Well worth the extra money, recommend getting a water view room . Hotel is extremely clean , everyone was very nice and vallet parking was great so you don't have worry about finding a parking spot .
The complimentary shuttle to anywhere downtown is the best service. No need to make reservations - the white van comes on the hour. Just wait outside, hop on, and don't forget to tip!
Hotel has a cool theme and the rooms all have fireplaces (that can randomly turn off and on). Get a room with a view (& window) it's worth it since the ac doesn't work well at all! Overall pleasant exp
Panoramic views of Seattle's stunning Puget Sound, with floor-to-ceiling windows at the Six Seven Restaurant . The bar is a wicked spot for enjoying a sunset cocktail or a local beer on tap .
They have a shuttle to nearby vicinities leaving on the hour, will also pick you up if you call the hotel front desk to bring you back to the hotel .
Until 1964, this hotel was fading, but then "The Beatles" moved in. Their number 272 now is memorable, but there were other stars - Ray Charles, «Beach Boys» and «Led Zeppelin».
If you can get a 1st floor water view room , bring a small fishing pole and cast away out your window! The restaurant chef might cook your catches for you.
Tiny rooms, amazing views , great restaurant and drinks (again, with amazing water views ).
The Edgewater Hotel has the most cozy lobby area. Relax, warm up, and check out their wall of fame .
Beautiful view , very friendly staff . But : very noisy room. I could hear everything from the neighbours: extra loud bathroom fan from room downstairs, corridor, foot steps from room upstairs, fridge .
Don't miss the happy hour at Six Seven from 3pm to 6pm. You get signature drink specials for only $6 and appetizers for only $5.
Join the Stash point club. They email a confirmation, for joining, that has a link to a certificate good for a complimentary room upgrade (on stays of 2nights or more). At check in we received a free
Ask for the Beatles suite if you want to travel like a rock star. The legendary band stayed here in 1964 during their American tour . Read more
Beautiful hotel but worst night sleep! I'm not sure if its the boats or trains but the noise is pretty constant as well as the noise from surrounding rooms (people walking above & outside, TVs , etc)
Of you can snag a waterfront room or seat at the restaurant - GO FOR IT! This place is gorgeous!
Upgrade to a waterfront room for a small fee. So worth it. You either get a clawfoot tub or a balcony . Word on the street is that the rooms with tubs typically have the best views , too.
Waterfront Premium King Guestrooms with a clawfoot tub ! Nothing beats relaxing in a bath with a nice glass of wine and looking out onto the lights of Elliott Bay .
Go out into the driveway and take a look up at the big red E on top of the hotel – we have a resident bald eagle that perches up there to survey Elliott Bay .
Don't miss the fascinating wall of fame near reception.
A gorgeous hotel !! Beautiful views with fireplaces in the rooms
We had an obstructed water view , so is was not as amazing as all the other reviewers. Make sure your room number is higher than 16, so 116, 216, 316, etc.
The Bar at the Edgewater is an excellent place for sunset cocktails and a small snack . The Martinis are alright, and they generally have at least one local beer on tap .
Cozy fireplaces , great waterfront view , historic landmark
Amazing food at restaurant inside hotel , loved the salmon . Pricey though.
With its panoramic waterfront view and outdoor seating , the lounge is hard to beat as a summer happy-hour destination. Gives bar food a gourmet twist, such as lamb sliders . Happy hour 3-6 Sun-Th Read more
Great place to read a book downstairs in the lounge near the windows. It's like being on a cruise-ship without the fuss of the wind!
Agreed. Extra $50 to upgrade to water view is worth it. City view is nice, but you can hear train signal a lot. Cool vibe though and amazing views + location!
Build in some time to WALK to some of Seattle's most famous attractions . On a nice day, there’s nothing like strolling along the Seattle Waterfront .
Even though the view of the water is beautiful, don’t forget to find a place to look up at the Seattle skyline at night – positively magical.
Breathtaking at least go and grab a drink at the lobby :-)
The extra cost of the waterfront rooms is worth it, esp. if you plan to be in your room a lot. Great views , nice summer breeze.
Good view from the reception area and from the attached restaurant .
Bring ear plugs. Storms on the water side can get REAL nasty and the wind can keep you up or boats docking on the north end.
Located close to Pike’s Market , nicely decorated. Hotel bar only has one tv so not ideal to watch a sporting event . Last call is at 11PM which is really lame.
If on water, check to see if your window is cracked open. Can make for crazy 'unknown' drafts! And whistling in high wind.
Gorgeous view but buyer aware that it comes with over $100 of hidden fees.
This is the hotel to stay at in seattle. Waterview is really nice.
Great meeting rooms and catering service. Can't beat the view from the conference rooms .
Take advantage of our waterfront location and walk down to the iconic Pike Place Market for a true Seattle experience!
Cool bar that overlooks the water. Perfect setting for cocktails at sunset . But, pass on the Sunday brunch (blah and overpriced). Read more
Bike , Umbrella, Board Games and Shuttle to downtown all complimentary during your stay. Love it!
Don’t forget to take advantage of our complimentary shuttle downtown. It makes everything Seattle has to offer easily accessible.
Definitely get a room with a water view . The windows are operable so if the weather's nice, you can get a sea breeze in your room.
Bring a pair of tennis shoes to run/walk along the waterfront -- or ride a bike along Myrtle Edwards park .
Christmas at the hotel ~ décor is super festive and the hotel shows fabulously with the lit fireplaces .
Come for the Brim Coffee Shop
Even if you don't stay here, get a drink in the lounge for breathtaking views of Puget Sound.
One of the best breakfast spots in Seattle proper (best bacon we've ever had) AND open on Mondays which some places aren't. - The Edgewater
The aesthetic and decor is amazing! Love the ambiance! And beautiful views of the lake - Jaye Fleurant
Loved this hotel. I always try to stay downtown and this was right on the water and less than a 5 minute walk to Pike Place. Food great at the hotel. Nice pool, only wish it had been a little warmer. - Tessa Merna
Very nice hotel with free car service in 2 mile radius. The food downstairs at shuckers was awesome! - Lauren Ruester
This boutique hotel has a unique charm. The decor was beautiful, and the attention to detail was impressive. The breakfast served in the garden was a lovely way to start the day. - Karen Newell
Really cool that the city has still kept this mostly small local vendors. Definitely worth a visit, I still visit as a local! - Greg Wilcox
Lightest and best-tasting fish and chips in Seattle. The service is always excellent and friendly. Eat outside if you can! - Mark Frederick
