Contrary to the negative reviews, Natura offers a lovely breakfast buffet , fitness room, free wifi , and spa . The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Can book tours directly from them.
Basic rooms and a little walk (20mins or free bus ride) from town but beautiful and trendy interior, fantastic breakfast and great value ! Ideal as a base for adventures
Get the bus card from the hotel to head to downtown Reykjavik. It's free of charge provided you return the card. Remember to get the bus schedule as well . The bus stop is just across the hotel .
Request a room away from the airport or you’ll be woken up early by planes . The breakfast is fantastic! Bacon and eggs ? Yes please!
Don't listen to Drew's tip, RE: breakfast . They offer a great selection of local foods, including Gluten-free options. Fruits , veggies , breads , pastries , etc! Very good.
Natura Spa here was great. I had massage then used pool and sauna facilities. Book an appointment for tourist helicopter ride and go here afterwards. Perfect.
Quite dated, but still well kept. Every thing else is far. But we were on vacation and Reykjavik is a nice walk in spring! Lots of good food in town ! Taxis are expensive like everything else .
The architecture is very soviet 1970s but its quite nice. Some fun walks in the hills just across the street, and art inside!
Ask for a room with a view over the airport and you can watch all of the small planes taking off & landing day & night.
Hot smoked salmon and poached egg is a bomb! The best choice in the menu
Splurge for deluxe room. The extra space is worth it. Plus you get the spa included.
Experience was amazing, everyone was so friendly and so helpful. The spa was so relaxing .
Grab a hot chocolate at the bar and use the free internet stations to pick a place for dinner after your day tour .
Ask the bartender , Dominik, to make you "something special." One of the most creative drink makers I've ever met.
Comfortable hotel with a good restaurant .
As of April 2011, there is heavy remodeling going on. The breakfast isn't that great, but overall the hotel is great. It's a bit of a walk to the city center but there is a free shuttle .
The restaurant there is one of the best in Reykjavik. It popular both with tourists and Icelanders .
They have complimentary coffee and tea machine near the front desk.
Avoid the hotel breakfast - it's truly terrible. The are lots of great cafés are coffee shops in the city centre, around 20 minutes walk. Head towards the spire.
Older hotel . Decent rooms, but it’s got kind of a dormitory feel.
Decent sized rooms. Small beds. Super expensive bar . 13CAD for a single beer . Crazy.
Breakfast was filling. Sir by the window for best view .
It's an Icelandic best western, if we're being frank.
The walk to downtown really isn't bad like people think it is.
Try The Spa !

The burger is exceptionally good, but I would avoid the meat soup. Very watery. The Tuborg is the nicest beer around too! - Lol Craven
Very good hotel in Reykjavik, if not the best. Excellent facilities. - Bragi Magnusson
Vox has a great tasting menu. One of the better ones in town. Which is surprising, given that it's a hotel restaurant. - Andrew Baisley
Good hotel with nice beds and good breakfast. Close to the centre of Reykjavik. - Niels Zwang
The architecture is one of a kind and you can go to the top for about 8 USD. - Eric Tsai
