Great hotel , with plenty of charm. Room service menu is good, and the pool table in the Smoke House will keep you entertained for hours, helped by the plentiful choice of whisky !

The old wing is ery nostalgic building. Location is good as its away from the traffic of KL. It has shuttle to KL sentral. The room is huge and very modern and nice. Good ambient, comfortable bed .

The old wing was used 2 b the National Art Gallery . They spruced up this place became a hotel wid Neo-Classical details n its documented as a national heritage site under Malaysian Antiquities Act.

Had a great staycation here. Lovely rooms, huge bathroom , love the down pillows . Having to pay for parking was an unpleasant surprise tho. Didn't think YTL was so cheap . Overall, still a lovely place.

The new YTL expansion is beautiful but the old wing is more preferable for me as it is classic and elegant or in other word, 'majestic'.

The rooms are contemporary . I don't like the fact that you can see the bathroom from the bedroom (it's only separated by a glass window ; curtains for privacy). But that's the fad at most hotels .

For a hotel standard, the overall buffet food served was pretty excellent. Go for their Cheesy Bratwurst and Lamb Shank but try to avoid their Coffee Ice-Cream. -Penang Kia Food Critique-
