The Lorong Halus Wetland, located along the eastern bank of Serangoon Reservoir, collects and treats water passing through the former landfill, preventing it from flowing into the reservoir. This helps safeguard the quality of water in the reservoir.

Cyclists: When you get to the PEDESTRIAN bridge : Read the sign. Comply with the biggest instruction at top of the sign. Most of you do. Thank you. Some are obviously illiterate and/or defiant.
An alternate ingress (entry) point for Coney Island . Punggol End does get a bit crowded .
On National Day, go sit at the benches (near the rustic looking public toliet) from 5 onwards. The F-15s will be taking off and you can see them up close as they leave for the NDP fly past.

Instead of going there during dinnertime and fighting with the crowd...have an early dinner around 5...and go for a sunset walk...its super romantic
