The Westin Philadelphia

I've stayed in a number of hotels in Philly, including the famed Rittenhouse and I really don't think that you can beat the Westin. Decor, location, amenities , service, value....it has it all!

The rooms are clean and spacious ! The bathroom was glorious, and quite accessible for a wheelchair. Nice, comfy , shower bench , and a rain spa shower head. Sneaky concession display, w/ hidden $$ card

The Westin is easily the nicest hotel in its price range in Center City . For price, quality, and overall value, there's no competition.

Home of the famed (with good reason) Westin Heavenly beds. You may not be able to leave the room. Rittenhouse Square is super-lively, especially on weekends. Grab a cheesesteak and watch the action.

Ask for a Westinworkout guestroom that includes a kingsize bed dressed in heavily bed sheets and a treadmill , bike or elliptical . Your ass will thank me later.

Sooo... Parking is outrageously priced. The in room bar/snacks are priced so ridiculously they make you chuckle. $12 for a small can of Pringles. The good news is there's a rite aid at the corner.

Room and facilities were first class , but they need more cleaning staff to get rooms turned around for check in! Also avoid room service - two eggs with bacon and coffee will set you back $38!

The Westin Philadelphia welcomes canine companions as long as the pet weighs 40 pounds or less. A $50 non-refundable fee & signed waiver are required. Dog pillows & doggy bowls provided upon check-in.

Great location in the heart of Rittenhouse , but over-hyped and nothing special. I prefer the more modern Palomar or Sofitel, which are both in Rittenhouse as well .

Amazing bathroom set up. Separate shower stall and guest bathroom in front of room. Well done.

A Gym Rat ? Ask for the Westin Workout rooms . Standard King room with a treadmill , videos, yoga mat and dumbbells. Nice!

Staff at front desk outstanding. Rooms very clean and comfortable . Good value .

One of the best reception ever. The person in the lobby was great with us and help us a lot.

Don't eat the PRINGLES from the mini bar . A small can is $10.

Rooms are good, however my A/C konked out in the middle of the night and the guy who fixes made it worse. Otherwise excellent service!

Service quality is too up and down given the brand. Hotel is nice overall, though multiple elevators to go from your room to street level is always annoying.

Try to hit DiBruno brothers up to stock up on yummy gourmet treats if they are closed go to rite aid ...way cheaper than the mini bar !

Comfortable but mediocre rooms for the price. Extremely dark rooms. Convenient location.

Our room came with a treadmill , weights, medicine ball & yoga mat ! Perfect!

This Westin is comfortable but a little dated. Rooms are on the small side.

Disappointed with the last minute (3am) notice, for unavailable late checkout, AS WELL as the inability to extend our stay an additional night- particularly irritating since this was a business trip.

When it's rainy outside, you can get to the mall through a small hallway on the ground floor

Splurge on a room in this hotel . It's such a luxury .

This hotel has the most comfortable beds imaginable. Literally feels like sleeping on clouds in heaven.

If you're SPG Platinum and use in-room Internet, check your bill. The front desk will remove the charges.

The internet connectivity is poor. The rooms are nice, though. Trade offs!

Try the Eggs , Sausage , Fruit & Smoothie - The cure for the common hangover!

Beware... This hotel will nickel and dime you for just about anything, including WIFI . You would think at almost $500.00 a night, some things would be free.

The money isn't everything drink was very good

You can check in any time you want, but you can never leave.

This is a former Ritz and it shows. The decor is classy and beautiful. The beds are the best hotel beds I've slept in.

Their king beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!

Rite Aid is right around the corner on 17th st & chestnut !

Just waited an hour for room service . The reason: "your congee takes more than 30 minutes to prepare." They must have harvested the rice too cos this watery soup looks barely cooked!

Q is the BEST BARTENDER IN THE ENTIRE CITY !

Be sure to say hi to Murray at the bar...he's the best!!

If you want to watch the Phillies, go to a bar if the game isn't nationally televised . CSN isn't available in the rooms.

Avoid the hotel restaurant . The bar is fine, but you're better off elsewhere.

No free wifi in guest rooms, even if you're a Starwood Preferred Guest.

Dirty . Overpriced not happy
