This is a really nice equinox. The locker room is super spacious and the cycling room isn’t cramped
Have been hooked since i joined a month ago. All locations on UES are great but this one is the biggest. I love many classes and 2 floors to work out.
this location has 5 floors! day lockers have combo codes so if you forget a lock, no worries, you dont need to incur a $20+ damage fee to buy a new one like at other equinox locations.
Greg James FTW! Got kind of scared of him at first but I felt so great and sore after his class ! Definitely recommended! :)
Anything by Greg James will whip you into shape pronto. Plays great rap music too.
Line for in-person spin sign up starts right at the desk. Don't assume you'll have a spot if you're first to arrive but sitting in the lobby. Safer to stand while waiting.
Great all glass steamroom
By far the worst part of this place is the 2x1 ratio of trainers to clients in the weight area, and their 7 exercise supersets taking up 90% of the space.
A very odd layout. It's an Equinox so it's great but not my favorite.
People start setting up for Stephanie's Flabuless class 30 mins early! (Tuesday nights at 5:30)
Unwarranted comment about the quality of wifi because I mean, what else would you do in a 5 floor fitness complex?
Get a 50-minute Muscle Melt massage with Dwight. It won't be your most relaxing massage ever, but your muscles will thank you.
Red Carpet Ready on Wednesday nights w/ Dawn Parker = favorite class
Juice bar downstairs and pretty empty early in the AM ????
Night time is the right time to work out if you want full concentration on your work out.
Obsessed, LOVE everything!
Great Pilates classes at this location.
If you present you NYU ID, NO initiation fee!!!!!
Yoga with Bee is ????
Ok so the wifi is fine now. Now can we complain about how expensive it is?
Oh no. The new Equinox App is terrible. Deleted all my prior workout info and now I can't write in what I did in the calendar. Management - what are you thinking?
The stair mill is a good way to get a calorie burning sweat on.
The steamroom is amazing
Get here early for a Woodway treadmill on weekends
Live this Equinox, really...
They turned off the wifi on the gym floors. I complained to management buy they don't care
Good location never busy.
If you want to use a stationary bike that is not recumbent -good luck with that. They only have 3 :(
You MUST James Darling's Pilates mat class on Wednesdays---he's hysterical!
Wifi isn't good but spa is!
Barre burn is pretty lame. Inside/out in Greenwich is far superior.
working the arms or the girls at the gyn
"Stay Away"!!! I was at this location and my bag was stolen. Unbelievable but true.
Lower workout floor has no reception. Juice bar is super overpriced. $10 for a smoothie
No curles in the squat rack
Juice bar closes too damn early.
Does the mayor of this place even workout?
workout in the afternoon..
And joe likes the boys
Eric is a puppet mayor.
The wifi here is terrible
workout at 7am.
Expensive elaborate juices and smoothies in Equinox. $10 a pop but they hit the spot. And calorie counting is included. - Jason H.
Love the pool & spa area - gym heaven. Good Pilates too. - Renae Mason
One of my favorite Equinox's in all of the city. It's only one floor but the layout is great and the staff is extremely helpful. You can get to it right off the 6 train - Kristine Yapp
Amazing club! Very clean and not the least bit pretentious. Good mix of classes at this location, everything from barre to yoga to cycling to strength training. The only con is the lack of a pool - ℳ????????♍
This location recently re-opened after the long renovation. Clean and spacious. Plus, the new interior design is nice. A great place for work or study. - Jenny Seo
Fabulous gourmet market . Beautiful fish & meats. - Joseph Huppert
