One of the Top 3 Equinox’s in the city , in my opinion. Nice, easy layout and massive locker room and shower area. Only negative is size, small compared to other locations.
One of my favorite Equinox's in all of the city . It's only one floor but the layout is great and the staff is extremely helpful. You can get to it right off the 6 train
I like how everything is contained to one floor. Heads up that this location doesn’t have the locks connected to the lockers but you can ask the front desk to borrow one.
My Equinox home base. This location has one of the better energy and vibes. There's all the gym classes I need: cycling, body sculpt, pilates .. and everyone is super friendly and accomodating
Sign up for membership at Equinox and get access to all of its locations, including two in Murray Hill . They’re outfitted with cycling studios , personal trainers , Pilates , and yoga classes .
This location has had some positive changes. The locker rooms now have locks (yes, they lacked them before!) and look beautiful. The cycling studio has also been updated for pursuit classes
Heads up that their lockers don’t have locks installed so you’ll need to bring your own.
Take Becca's barre burn class on Sundays- it's a perfect mix of pilates/yoga that tones and sculpts the body. She's also the sweetest and most pleasant instructor I've had there.
Meets the high expectations that come with Equinox. Love Wednesday morning yoga with Daniela, but I haven't tried many other classes at this location.
Equinox is the best gym in America. Once you join, you won't want to go back to where you used to work out. It's clean with a friendly staff .
Spacious and clean facility . Showers here with Kiehls products are probably better than the shower i have at home.
Super busy on a Monday @ 8PM. Relatively small floor for all these people. Bro Vibes here.
More of a midtown B&T vibe. Smaller than others, but clears out around 8:45am. Large men's steam. Apparently it is packed in the afternoons/evenings.
Arrive at least 5 minutes early for evening classes to get a spot. Locker room gets very slippery when wet, so be careful.
Book a complimentary Equifit evaluation and 1 on 1 training session with the best trainers in the industry. With degrees in exercise science, and national certifications, the fitness pros get results!
Classes are ridiculously packed. Either limit the number of people or make the rooms bigger.
If you want a great workout on Wednesday mornings, try Joanna's 30/60/90 & spin. Just remember to sign up for your spin bike on MYEQ.
Stay away from Equinox on mondays between 6pm and 8pm it's PACKED!! If you can, go in the afternoons, always quieter !
Feel free to ask your fellow gym mate to get off of the cell phone -- for a "temple of well being" there sure are a lot of annoying cell phone conversations happening.
Probably the most ill-kept and poorly cleaned locker room out of any of the Manhattan clubs. Be wary!
This one requires you bring your own lock, unlike Greenwich which has programmable doors on lockers.
2 Park location is the bomb. spacious , clean and relatively new, in comparison with other locations.
Join for the coconut shampoo, stay just in case your building's hot water goes out.
Jolene is an awesome trainer . Make sure you sign up to train with her.
Very cramped with long queues for cardio machines and weights. To make things worse, the trainers monopolize squat/power racks regardless of club members waiting. I blame poor management.
Keep a positive attitude - with a great attitude, determination, and persistence, any fitness goal is attainable!
Salads , quinoa bowls!!
Try a class - they have great instructors .
Kettlebells class rocks . And the Woodway treadmills are the best machines there. Only two though - so watch out for fights over them!
Best steam room in the game
Take a yoga class , try spinning, or dare to try bootcamp class -- you'll be sure to sweat!
Less busy than the 19th street location.
Super nice staff
Take a class or get your pump on just make sure you sweat
Much better laid out for weight training than 19th
Lovely Spa in Gym ;)
the vinyasa yoga basic class Thursdays at 615 is fantastic, meditation , chanting and the best teacher Mindi Frenkel
Blake Mays is the best instructor !
Rebounding with Blake is my fav class .
Zumba with Jaimie is the best!
Great gym - great energy
Blake Mays workout classes ROCK !!
Pilates with Sasha is fantastic--varied routine and never too easy.
Lunchtime spin with Matthew on Wed, followed by all-greens drink!
Try the treadmill race class with Matthew Pasqua. Best workout of my life!
Yoga classes
Hot closeted guys everywhere
Wed lunchtime spin with Matthew P will kick your butt.
The wifi connection leaves alot to be desired especially for the amount of $$$ I pay.
Steam room is huge
My go to spot for a smoothie. The green light with almond butter & cinnamon is perfect for someone who doesn’t like things too sweet. Staff is also nice! - Aja Brandman
Best Equinox on Saturday's. Almost always pretty empty. It's like having my own gym. - Frantz
I love this place. Worth every penny of its pricey membership! - may jiang
Great gym. Lots of space and good range of equipment. Juice bar is also a must have. - Jason Quarisa
Stadium seating, friendly staff and away from the tourists. One of my fav theaters in the city! - Norman Ellis
Great value, huge selection, friendly staff - but can get very busy - Irmas happen that your check out line runs through the whole store - John
Super diverse Olive bar! Great selection of cheeses. Love this place! - Akansha Sharma
