The architecture and tanks are breathtaking on their own, but they definitely have a very cool variety of fish and aquatic life. When busy it is unfortunately very cramped.
Open every Saturday from 10am-3pm. Stop by and see us as we continue to grow. Electric eel display soon to return!
It’s free! Enjoyed the quick lesson on a few aquatic animals! The salamanders were my favorite.
So unique, perfect date idea. Also it weirdly reminds me of the museum at the beginning of Harry Potter.
This place is really a gem... it’s very worth checking it out.
Glad they are open again! Although, only half of the tanks are filled, it's definitely worth the trip on a Saturday if you live in or near the city .
open Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Great for all ages! Admittance is free, the atmosphere and variety of fish are great! So glad they reopened!
Don't just admire the aquariums , take in the architecture and history, too!
Go for the fish , enjoy the architecture !
This place gets crowded but it’s co to cruise through and enjoy viewing the tanks .
It's free, but donate if you can to support this great little aquarium .
The Abandoned In Detroit has a photo exhibit in the aquarium . Tweet @fuzzytek when you see it. Http://AbandonedInDetroit.org
Beautiful outside. Tragic inside.
Great things are happening at the aquarium . 27 live tanks and more to be opened soon.
Small aquarium , emphasis on air-breathing freshwater fish
It's great to see the Aquarium up and running again.

Go to the Conservatory when the weather doesn't cooperate. It's the best place to go to warm up, feel some tropical humidity, and see some pretty spectacular flora and fauna. - BareBones Detroit
