I really enjoyed this museum . Very interactive so kids love it. And, it's got great history of Detroit.
The remodeling has added a lot of great exhibits , including stuff that kids will enjoy. As always, the view from the William Clay Ford wheelhouse is great when a freighter passes by.
Very cool place to visit. Staff very friendly and informative. Wonderful view of the river and it's FREE admission
Nice place with great history and unoque items. Definitely will be visiting again as a family.
Open on to the public on weekends. Touch the anchor of the Edmund Fitzgerald... Climb aboard the wheelhouse of a lake freighter ... Enjoy panoramic views of the Detroit River . Free admission !
Come here and support the Detroit Historical Society! Its free, interesting and fun.
Check out the "Miss Pepsi " speed boat in the front atrium outside the museum .
If you haven't been in years, you need to come. The recent renovation is awesome. Lots more to see. Really well done exhibits. Streets of Old Detroit, as always, is a must-see. - Ben Spedoske
Wonderful staff and a great tour into Detroit’s musical past. Would highly recommend the tour! - Jeremy Taylor
Great for all ages! Admittance is free, the atmosphere and variety of fish are great! So glad they reopened! - Lydia Green
Go to the Conservatory when the weather doesn't cooperate. It's the best place to go to warm up, feel some tropical humidity, and see some pretty spectacular flora and fauna. - BareBones Detroit
