Waves were amazing here. Very scenic . They way the sun hits the water in the afternoon gives it even more ambiance.
Beautiful beach and minutes from Hearst Castle . Grab a French dip sandwich from Sebastian 's and some wine from from Hearst Ranch and you're set.
Senator George Hearst bought the land in 1865. San Simeon Store est. 1873. After the death of William Randolph Hearst in 1951, his heirs donated the beach south of Sebastian General Store for a park .
Picnic area . Beach access , Bathroom . elephants seals are 4.5 north from here
