One of the best spots in Bath for real ale , quality cider and good wholesome food. This is one of those pubs with a really chilled atmosphere, no loud music and friendly staff and customers. 10/10

The Heidi pie (with goats cheese & pumpkin ) is delicious if you're in the mood for something veggie . Also mushy peas are only 70p on the side. That and a pint will sort you out for at least two days.

Deerstalker pie with red wine and thyme is out of this world. Malt vinegar with the gravy for the chips works great.

Highly recommended for real ale lovers - give the raven a try, dark, but soft and creamy with some pretty interesting flavours. Pies are spot-on, but make sure it comes with gravy or it's a bit stodgy

Amazing ales selection and tasty food to boot. Spicy Deer Bonnet pie with Raven ale gravy highly recommended.

Last year's CAMRA Pub of the Year for Bath and Borders is still an excellent choice, serving amazing pies , and offering a huge selection of real ales , as well as real cider .

All mentioned above is true.. The pies are brilliant, the Raven ale really nice, cool atmosphere, liked it better upstairs.. would definitely recommend.. might be back myself, if I'm in Bath again..

Tiny pub so come in and grab a table if you can. Mulled cider is lovely around xmas time.

Amazing pies ! I loved the Raven Ale one but the rest of my party would also recommend the Mr Porky and the Matador ones. Excellent beer too!

Why is this a proper pub ? Because the barman does the crossword with the locals. (The pies and ales are also great)
