While views are excellent on top floors, rooms are tiny, especially by Starwood platinum standards. The W, St. Regis, and Palace are all excellent Starwood properties within minutes walking distance.

Aashna S

Try to get a room higher up. Worth it for the beautiful sf view . Could see Alcatraz as well as part of the golden gate bridge . Great location.

Casey Neistat

push hard for an upper floor. don't fall for anything below the 20th. charm the person checking you in, they have the power. nice hotel . just what you'd expect.

Aashna S

Try to get a room higher up. It's worth it for the beautiful sf view . Could see Alcatraz as well as part of the golden gate bridge . Great location. Expensive parking .

Nadia Silva

It's in a great location! Not too far from union square, and it's extremely easy to catch a cab. I'd recommend doing the "free breakfast buffet " upgrade with your stay, it is well worth it.

Hal Mackins

A solid, modern Starwood property in the FiDi. Since becoming a Park Central, they've done away with room service , a bit of a downer. However, plenty of good stuff nearby (incl. Super Duper Burger ).

Jacob Edholm

Best Starwood property in the city . Even though it is no longer a Westin, the high-quality remains and the service is great. Faye at the front desk made sure my visit was one to remember.

Jonathan Adams

Great service here when an employee went way above & beyond the call of duty for me. During BART outage -- employee offered to drive me to airport himself due to taxi shortage. Amazing gesture.

Bob S.

Comfortable , well located hotel with friendly , gracious staff . Represents the spirit of San Francisco well . Plus, great views .

Kate Rhoades

When they're cleaning the bathrooms , they put up a sign saying they're being "renewed" á la Logan's run. And the stall does go all the way to the floor. Great for some quick sex.

Mark Kupasrimonkol

The view from rm. 2001. Get it. Also, don't put things in the mini bar , request a separate fridge or you will be $$$.

Bre Roz

The cleaning staff has done an excellent job honoring my request for only decaf coffees and teas being left in my room! They remember every day!

Lainey Canevaro

Rooms ending in #26 are on a corner and they have floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides From higher floors they have amazinng city view . They are a little smaller, but cozy and the view is worth it :)

J Crowley

Meh. Rooms are fine. A little worn. Ant gym is way too small for a hotel of this size. 🐜 Ask for a room on a higher floor for great views , and complimentary drink tickets when you check in

Derek Watson

Great location but beware the resort fee, highest in San Francisco

Anne Mai Bertelsen

This is more of Sheraton with Westin branding slapped on it. Better to stay at the W down the block

ShopSaveSequin

The suites are not so sweet people. While roomy & spacious , the furniture and wet bar area looked battered & scratched up...dare I say ghetto for almost $500/night?! And NO free wifi either. C+

Andrew

They let me check-in at 8:30 AM on a Friday! Also gave me late checkout on Sunday - thanks Westin! Super clean , updated hotel , amazing location.

Bruce Hashim

Rooms ending in 10 are smallish. Overall, nice rooms, great location too. Try the wine tasting bar around the corner on 3rd street.

J

Don't expect your key to work on the first try. Hasn't in my last three visits here. This last time, the front desk's system was down so it took twice as long to check in (manual credit card info).

Mike Dudas

You want to workout at 6am? Are you crazy? The hardcore road warriors at this hotel fill up every square inch of the gym by 5:45am. Slacker.

Marcelo Eduardo

If you are not on SPG , do it. You will get for sure on a higher floor with a view .

Scott Brown

Room tired, decor tired and has the aroma of a boy of neglect.

Austin Vegas

Watch out when booking ! $44 “facilities fee” is added AFTER rate is shown.

Nate Lawler

Great location. Staff is either great or below average. Best value for the SPG properties in SF.

Kurt Diver

Room 1807's air conditioning doesn't work, neither does the display on the alarm clock. If you go green (passing house keeping) you get a $5 drink credit. Good luck finding where to use it!

Maurina Venturelli

Park at Hearst Parking Garage . $26 for 24 hours . Way cheaper than the $60 a night valet. The garage is 45 3 rd street.

David Smith

There's no room service , but you can get food at the bar downstairs.

Scott Hargroves

Bit naff! But then so are most of the hotels in San Francisco.

Megan Clemente

Nice but some really weird things like $15 WiFi per device and a mini bar fridge with no space to put anything of your own-would have to call for a second fridge

Mickey Hawk

Views ! Huge floor-to-ceiling windows.

Nathan Kam

If you have a group of 5 or more headed to the airport , inquire with the valet/concierge about car service. Often times, that can take your peeps for less than two taxis . Save money.

Heath Terry

Possibly the worst run hotel in SF. Regularly overbooks during conferences and then sends guest to other hotels when they run out of rooms. Desks clerks completely unapologetic about the practice.

R Lee

Clean , affordable rooms without amenities such as gyms or pools.

Carolyn Coles

Rooms vary in size and quality. Definitely don't hesitate to request a room change if you get the short end of the stick. The Room77 app / site helps.

DxbM

Centrally located .. I guess it's a business hotel .. no fridge or mini bar in the room .. am quite neutral.

Becky Henderson

Beds are sooo uncomfortable it's ridiculous. Always long lines at the concierge , they are nice enough. Bathtub makes so much noise I felt like I was going to fall through the floor. Too expensive .

Nat Sakimura

The rooms ending with 06 at the Westin San Francisco Market Street is a two room suite with floor to ceiling window in both the living and bed room. Read more

Elizabeth Burstein

Simple modern hotel in a great location

Mallory Stanton

Nice and clean with great views . Super plush beds.

Mark Malone

Parking in the Hearst lot across the street is the way to go....even if your company is paying.

Andrew Litvak

The views are impressive, which makes up for the smaller rooms.

Dan W

Nice hotel , internet is in and out (works for two minutes, then down for an hour). I gave up and went to Starbucks to get some work done.

Johann Alejandro

Rooms ending in #22 have a nice view to the Kearney St

Erin Bestic

Platinum guests - take the breakfast option as your perk instead of the 500 points - much better deal & great breakfast !

Michael

Really great hotel . Super nice clean and new rooms with great views on high floors, Westin's are the best hotels .

Esteban Romero

Great location. Big rooms . Great service

Edward Clarke

Pretty nice hotel - booked "better" King and it's small- bath not so nice

Paul Yeager

Great place to stay if you are going to AT&t Park . Only one mile by foot and located in a good area I'd things to do.

Luz Martín Manjón
