Classy hotel downtown. Beautiful renovated rooms with all comforts and amenities . The Garden Court is breathtaking
This hotel is beautiful!! Beds are very comfortable & they even have robes! Also no coffee makers in the room BUT just ask & one will be brought up for free with lots if coffee , teas , cream & sugar!
Love, love, love this place! My new favorite home from home! It reminds me of The Plaza in NYC. Great rooms with modern chic finishings and a fantastic brunch in The Garden Court! ❤️
Check out garden court. Even if you don't have brunch here, it's beautiful and this is one of the oldest hotels in San Francisco.
Just come for an expensive cocktail in the lobby to admire the beautiful ceiling and chandeliers . Service took too long but hey, free roasted almonds and live music on a thursday night.
Super swanky lobby and restaurant . Rooms are nice and pretty big for SF. No street noise that I could notice compared to some nearby hotels I’ve stayed in before.
The best place to get married or celebrate important events . The French Parlor is an elegant venue offering sophisticated dining and dance floor for a maximum of 90 guests.
Gorgeous hotel with the garden court dining area. The parking situation for guests here is pretty short though, $60 bucks for a day.
Great hotel , staff , and location. Water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. Only complaint: lack of outlets by beds (for iPad and phone).
Have brunch in The Garden Court. This was where horse-drawn carriages used to ride up to drop off their passengers. Also check out the famous “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” mural at the Pied Piper Bar .
With a soaring stained glass ceiling, marble floors and mammoth chandeliers , the Palace summons the San Francisco of yesteryear. Read more
Wonderful place to sit and have an afternoon drink. Recommend the lovely garden court.
Gorgeous hotel . Brunch is a must!
Created Green Goddess dressing in the mid 1920s to honor actor George Arliss, appearing in the play The Green Goddess .
Huge hotel . Great meeting rooms. Near everything. Nice, modern room and large for SF standards. Tall ceilings.
This place is gorgeous inside; but the door is actually on New Montgomery between Mission and Market -- don't believe google maps directions!
In my view , still the nicest hotel near the financial district if you absolutely have to stay downtown. Awesome restaurant .
Stunner of a hotel with excellent service. Be sure to have breakfast or an afternoon tea in the beautiful courtyard .
Breakfast/Brunch at the Garden Court is awe-inspiring! My stay at the Palace was just perfect! Very beautiful hotel , nice staff , great location and amazing facilities!
Stayed here every year for the last 16+ years for the debutante ball. Beautiful hotel , very nice staff , garden court brunch is amazing but make reservations early. Indoor pool gym and spa great!
Now that it is all redone it's back as one of the best hotels in SD
Get a high floor corner suite. It's super quiet at night and enough space to stretch out.
Debbie Lew (the concierge ) is a gem. Extremely knowledgeable and willing to assist guests with every detail of their sight seeing.
Great classy classic hotel , stayed there for 2 days
Have you ever watched The Shining? Yeah, it's like that. Possibly haunted, I hope you're not alone when you hear a baby crying, uncertain of its whereabouts. The grand entrance however, transcendent!
Listen to their amazing piano player every night in The Garden Court. Your own private concert .
Get the Market Gimlet ! For a summer day, this cool cucumber drink is refreshing and a good amount of alcohol ;)
Did you know that US President Harding died at the Palace Hotel on August 2nd, 1923?
Filming location for many great ballroom scenes including the '62 thriller Experiments in Terror, Jade, Herbie Rides Again and most recently The Game
So beautiful! There's a foam roller at the spacious gym too.
Very nice clean hotel facility and the staff members are professional and friendly
Don’t miss The Garden Court - old world San Francisco elegance.
Dont miss hotel bar--pied piper. Gorgeous Maxfield Parrish painting of pied piper of Hamelin.
Gorgeous hotel . Really nice staff !
The breakfast is a good SPG bonus.
I think you meant 'The Palace ' hotel ! :-)
Ladies, a local secret at The Palace : they have elegant marble restrooms on the Lobby level, perfect for a quick touch up before heading into the bar , or elsewhere.
Lovely hotel , big rooms , very clean , would stay again
News to me: There's a full-service UPS store on the 2nd floor, where the conference rooms are.
The hotel rooms are big and the bathroom esp the toilet is very fancy technology 😁
Any of the three elegant ballrooms is the best place to celebrate important events .
Impressive lobby. Convenient but not in the nicest neighborhood
Gorgeous hotel , but be careful of the homeless people in the surrounding neighborhood .

Stayed here the weekend after Christmas . Beautiful hotel , but the service sucks. Everything takes too long. Severely understaffed at holidays. Good food, drinks, but no subs allowed for anything.
Very nice place to grab a drink after work
