I went here for lunch with my wife. The staff very nice and the food was great. I like that the chef sent us out tasting some of the menu items.
Great luxury hotel in the heart of San Francisco! Very attentive and friendly staff ! Rooms are spacious and come nothing short of what to expect from a St. Regis!
The Metropolitan Suites are nearly 1,000 square feet. Ask for room 2008, on the top floor: it faces northwest, which means a cube’s-eye view of Daniel Libeskind’s geometric Contemporary Jewish Museum .
With its luxe rooms—Mozambican wood on the walls; marble bathrooms—the St. Regis brings a dose of glamour to the SoMa district. The Japanese-themed restaurant Ame only adds to the appeal.
The customer service is outstanding! The entire staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as magnificent as possible. Excellent for large events and beautiful conference rooms !
The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had. The variety of fresh, local options was impressive. The staff was attentive, making our stay very pleasant.

If you attend a banquet here, hope you don't like to eat. The food is amazing but the waitstaff will take your plate away while you have the fork in your mouth! I know, it's happened to me twice!
As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable here. The staff was friendly and offered great local tips. The room was small but cozy , and the location was perfect for sightseeing.
Wonderful location and amazing service and food. Only negative is there's a bit of a snobby flare at times but it is to be expected at the prices for rooms.
A bit understated for a St. Regis but none the less my favorite SF hotel . Love the bar . Go get a Bloody Mary -- they invented it!
Wondering what to do for dinner ? First step: Sit at the bar . Second step: Order a Bummer and Lazarus extra spicy and the New York strip off of the dinner menu . Last step: enjoy and relax.
This is just one amazing hotel . From the design and upkeep to the service. Another reason I love the St. Regis hotels . But it's a shame they soak you on food, drinks, and Internet.
A great place for day meetings in a semi-quiet atmosphere. If you're feeling more adventuresome, grab a glass of bubbly & unwind. In the area for RSA 2012? Check out Barracuda Networks at booth #1147

Live the posh life and stay here. Big room . Huge shower . Massive tub. Amazing bay window. Remote controlled curtains, shower , & toilet . Stock up on their signature pens!!
It’s worth every penny that they ask for and you will probably never have such an amazing experience than your stay here!
Does everything a luxury branded American hotel should. Posh and comfortable but slightly soulless.
Ame: whether a la carte or as a tasting menu , look for tuna tataki , soft-shell crab , and black cod . Ask for a sake pairing. – Green Guide Editor
PRO TIP: Avoid $61 parking fee overnight and park a block and a half down 3rd Street at Moscone Center Garage for $19
Great lounge area and bar . Lobster bisque was also delicious!
PISCO Pear Sour! KAPPA Pisco , Rotham and Winter Pear Liqueur , lime , egg white . Served up with Angostura bitters
The St. Regis San Francisco is a highly sophisticated, elegant hotel . The place is pitch perfect – service is refined and attentive, décor is warm and contemporary ,and the rooms are spacious and comfy
The best rooms overlook Yerba Buena Park , request a suite Everytime, you'll never be disappointed
Try the bummer and Lazarus . Spicy tequila ; cooled off with refreshing cucumber and soothing ginger beer . Hello early summer!
Even the lobby can be an indulgent sanctuary. Sit in the lounge , order the steak Tagliate on the St Regis Lounge menu and the uni indulgent Staff Meal from Ame's menu. Enjoy the ambience.
Grab a seat in the lobby and meet folks for coffee/drinks. Sushi @ night too
Conference facilities are good although the lighting spectrum is too green and they overcharge for wifi provisioning. The AME restaurant deserves its' Michelin 2-Star rating.
Lovely hotel . Better lobby, rooms and surrounding area than the Ritz
Need a quick bite to eat? Walk out the back door (AME Restaurant ) and across the street on Mission/3rd is The Grove Cafe . Excellent food in a cool casual setting (open 7am-11pm).
Definitely go for a suite, you won't be disappointed. Great in-town spot for drinks with investors. If they are paying.
The best hotel rooms in SF. Yes, better than the Four Seasons.
Ambiance and the crew are great. Been coming here for years.
One of the best places to spend your nights in SF
Perfect cocktail spot before you see a movie down Mission at the Metreon -- booze makes the Metreon almost bearable.
Very tranquil hotel . Apparently the spa is fantastic.
Be sure to ask the prices for the "house wines " We had 3 glasses and our bill was $75.
