The Intercontinental Hotel provides two POPOS (Privately Owned Public Open Spaces ) on the fourth and sixth floors. They have various seating arrangements and landscaping, each with views of the City
A great location, one of the coolest hotel bars we found in the city , and a super gym which you will probably want to hit up in the morning before the feasting begins.
Great location, friendly staff , comfy beds + linens, quick valet service + two public outdoor spaces on the 4th + 6th floors.
Great place to stay...close to the financial district and anything you need. Great staff and bartenders ! Stay here enough and once they know you its like family!
Order a beer and ask for a free Wi-Fi password in the bar to avoid paying $14.95 a day -- and to get a beer . The code will work in your room too.
Great views of city skyline from west facing rooms. 6th floor gym is open 24/7 and has a FloWater machine where you can refill water bottles.
They treat you with respect. open the door for you. The place is very technology advanced. Overall a great place to spend your time. When you're not having fun in San Francisco.
If you've eaten too many burritos during your SF trip, try to do a mini-triathlon at the gym (30 min swim , 5 mi bike , 3 mi run)
If you sign up for a completely free IHG membership you get free Internet and free 2pm checkout. Even if you never use points it's worth it. Stay above 8th floor for an unobstructed view .
Amazing how 'luxury ' hotel chains think that nickel & diming you on water and wifi creates a good customer experience.
You'll find that this hotel is close to everything. You're within a 5 minute walk to several restaurants , shopping, a movie theater , and the Moscone Center. http://sf.travelivery.com Read more
Classic, elegant and consistent service. Short walk to shops, cafes , etc
really luxury experience.very nice and helpful staff . sweet complimentary of fruits and wines . love it.
Nice upscale hotel , clean big rooms with a nice view over San Francisco.
Although this hotel is relatively new (2008), the rooms and hallways already look very dated. Another guest was there when we checked into our room, and they offered free breakfast as an apology
Apparently the terraces on the 4th and 6th floors are publicly accessible open space . So go nuts , public!
This place looks modern but actually feels dated. The level of service, at best, was reasonable but nothing more and below that of other IC properties. Corner room had great views . Lounge enjoyable.
Amazing place. At a walking distance to almost anything. Great SPA
Going swimming ? I think you gotta swim about 66 lengths/33 laps to get a mile out if the 25m pool. Do it!
For free wifi you can suscribe to the "intercontinental rewards program" (or something like that... Can't remember the name) :)
The Foursquare Special cocktail is a blueberry mojito . Delicious.
Nice personnel, awesome huge room, complimentary toiletries and loafers!
A wonderful hotel ! Great room and a lovely view !
Great hotel ! Had an amazing view of the city and was close to everything!
This was the pillowcase housekeeping put on our bed. Looks like a bandage from the civil war.
It's in the downtown so you can walk any where you want???? room service is cool but limited in food choices!
Best in-room breakfast ever. Pancakes and eggs were extremely tasty.
Parking is $60 a night... Included breakfast is for 2 guests even if your reservation is for 4. Breakfast is $28 even if you're 7 years old. The pool was an afterthought very tight area with no seats.
Didn't stay at the hotel but the Grand Ballroom is a wonderful meeting space and the lobby is gorgeous.
Fabio, a bellman, is super nice and friendly ! The hotel is really nice but the parking is sooo expensive !
Nice hotel with top quality service. Ask a room with the view !
Great location and views !
Corner rooms are awesome. Floor to ceiling windows offer amazing views .
Good size rooms with plenty of outlets to charge all my devices!
The handicapped "stall" in the lobby restroom is a stand alone bathroom with power outlet and cloth towels.
Modern, with minimalist overtones. Good for events .
The location is the best in S.F, shopping and sight seeing
Free computer access in Club Longe plus outdoor patio to enjoy champagne breakfast .
Chef Concierge , Bill Sutton, is as good as it gets! He'll give you descriptive recommendations that will make you want to go wherever he points RIGHT AWAY!
Brunch is great - we had huevos rancheros and a waffle - both were fantastic!
Nice Hotel
Nice place. Though even on the 19th floor the sirens going by are loud .
Room keys are RIDICULOUSLY sensitive. Keep them away from your phone or the keys will be fried.
Relatively spacious , nice and clean rooms . Great location in SoMa, and beautiful gym .
Nice looking hotel lobby with large rooms
Really great option near Union Square
Great hotel . !!!
In the lounge you shouldn't play childeren's programs ! The hotel is quite nice !
JC on the front desk is super helpful! Best service I have had at a hotel !
