Traditional easy going pub, family friendly and even let dogs in. Usually a good atmosphere despite a real mix of people. Seem to have live music regularly. Food can take a while or run out when busy. - R S
Great location when the tide's in, and one of the biggest selection of real ales in Leigh-Southend. Staff are always friendly, and the fish and chips is highly rated (I just come here for the beers). - James

The view over the sea, the pace of service and the cute little fishing village make this cafe a great spot. We had the spicy fish stack and the crab toastie, both great with their house crinkle fries. - Catherine Sneyd
