Location convenient, quiet , so a good nights sleep, bar and restaurant nothing special, zero craft beers .
This hotel gets the job done, not any soul or anything special. Bar is standard Guinness , Fosters, Stella etc
Hallways are well in need of upgrade. Bathrooms in room tiny and a bit grotty. Bed had stain on top of the comforter. Not up to H Inn North American standards. Convenient to zoo and airport though.
Staff on reception are welcoming and friendly
Very upmarket for a Holiday Inn , great service and nice ambiance but a little pricey .
If you stay at the back you get to see the zoo :)
Food is quite good. Nice views of the Scottish hills
Though it's not saying much, probably the best in-hotel pool for swimming lengths (in halves at least).
Mention the 'pub prices' deal at the bar and get a discount on your drinks (offer valid as of Jan 2012. Not sure when it expires.)
Food in Sampan 's Chinese is beautiful, food at the Traders is great too
Bring thicker walls.

Don't be tempted by the Beef Chilli , it tastes like it came from a can.
Dont even think about coming here for a coffee after the zoo - costs 3 pounds per cup and is watered down crap.

No hay wifi gratis, hay que pagar y es caro . La persona que hizo el check out era poco agradable. Expensive wifi, be careful. Reception woman in checkout wasn't nice.
