Vajdahunyad Castle

Very nice place to rest & spend time in super green & nice park . Castle buildings are all different in style & beautiful.On the other side of the bridge is an ice rink in winter.Water bicycles rental.

Such a lovely mixture of different architecture style. Also a nice park so you can easily spend a day out.

Come on a weekend. If u r lucky u can catch people in medieval costumes , bayonetted soldiers , food and fun fairs !

Gorgeous place with beautiful landscapes around.Good for photoshooting & for walking.There are a few attractions such as little church in Roman style, Agriculture Museum &a few interesting sculptures

Castle of Vajdahunyad is one the most beautiful places in Budapest. Citizens of Budapest named the group of buildings "Vajdahunyad castle " on the basis of the part of palace to be seen from the lake .

I love the view even though I was far from the castle . get closer it was great. I recommend visiting here

Scenic castle . Try to go on a sunny day. Enjoy boating in the lake . Take perfect clicks from the other side where wooden chairs are kept.

I was very suprised to read that it is not a real castle but only built for an excibition 100 years ago. Looks like a fairy tale castle .

Architectually and historicaly very interesting to see. Hungarys history in one place.

Good place to chill with a picnic . Avoid the snack stand by the end of the bridge - overpriced (1000 for a jam donut , 2000 for a cup of hot wine ) and underwhelming.

If you have been in Budapest, you must see this castle !

В Городском парке , во внутреннем дворе замка , есть памятник Анонимусу: чтобы желание исполнилось, надо потереть свиток в его руке.

Слева от Замка Вайдахуняд на берегу озера , уютно расположились шезлонги . Стоит непременно ими восползоваться и приятно провести время наслаждаясь видом .

Можно подняться на башню - сделать фото и посмотреть на окрестности. Всего 300 форинтов и 56 ступенек:) к сожалению, надписи в минимузее gatetower только по венгерски
