Get the deluxe meal and be seated in the VIP dining room. 5 course meal with rice , one of the best vegetarian meals in HK.
A decent spread of vegetarian food served, they have 2 courses; ordinary and deluxe. Basically it's the type of food. Nothing to shout abt but I love their spring rolls and lemon fried beancurd .
Have a meal prepared by monks from this monastery . It's authentic and delicious!
Tasty vegetarian food , a bit pricey at 150HKD for the deluxe meal but it was a good experience
Great black mushrooms dish (in the deluxe set)
Too much sauce but overall a 65%
An interesting experience, but don’t do it for the food.

Definitely worth a visit when staying in Hong Kong. Get there by cable cars starting from Ngong Ping station. Be sure to be there before 11 am at the weekend to prevent long waiting in line. - Lorenz Branz
You cant go into the hall itself, but the view from the entrance doors are stunning anyways and worth coming for - Boon Koh
Delicious and very reasonably priced snack bar at the heart of the temple. We got a mixed vegetarian wheat gluten plate, 4 pieces of cake and an ice cream for HK$54. - Dr SW
I like the fruit salad, so sweet and yummy! - almaz wong
Try the chilled king oyster mushroom and the spicy sauce it comes with (looks like barbecue sauce but tastes wasabi). The dessert - mango and nata de coco in sweet sago soup is also very nice. - Mirka Charlotte
Sauces are a bit slimy, order crispy items instead. - Amber Straub
It's a perfect serene location. Try going there by late morning and have lunch and afternoon tea by the Ngong Ping Village. - Marvz Ben
Gorgeous 360 views with the Buddha in the background. A good stop on the Lantau Trail! - Joel Savitzky
