Plan to start your reso for sunset on the rooftop . Service is exquisite and food was amazing. Cherrywood smoked salmon was my fav. We also split a (very generous) wine pairing .
An absolutely amazing, carefully curated tasting menu experience that combines seasonal CA ingredients with traditional Japanese techniques & sensibilities. Read all about it on WinstonWanders.com
Outstanding two Michelin star restaurant that is only getting better in time. Start out with a shareable platter, then finish with an assortment of dishes. Their Somm did a great job pairing wine too.
Phenomenal food and service. It takes 3 hours to eat dinner , but it is so well paced that you don’t notice the time. Non-wine pairing was good. We also added some glasses of wine .
Speciality includes Pumpkin tartare with Dungeness crab , Smoked Ora king salmon with Arctic char roe & Japanese cheesecake
The food so good, the inn use the best of everything!
Tip / gratuity is no longer included in the total. We had to compute tip without the receipt / subtotal, so we guessed. Not the most pleasant way to end an amazing experience.
Went there again after 2 months, the menu changed , so delicious.
Be sure to say yes to the roof top experience, especially at sunset . Food, drinks, and experience are amazing.
Worth the hype. Amazing food and presentation. Wine team is fantastic!
Impeccable throughout
Didn’t live up to expectations. Food trying too hard to be Japanese (but failing), robot-like waiters . Way below Manresa (***) or Harbor House (*) for me.
Should be $$$$ in the listing
Slated to open late October 2016

Steamy windows cocktail, goat cheese croquettes, and any of the meat entrees...mmmm! - Lauren H
Can’t go wrong here. We tried most things on the menu, and each one was excellent. Côté de boeuf was ????. Service is on point. - Peter Berg
Terrific locally roasted gourmet coffee that’s top flight. They also have nice pastries with many Gluten free options. Best coffee on town. - Rachelle C
This lovely plaza connects the charming downtown. Food, art, wine, boutiques. It's all here, and most of it is one-of-a-kind. - Vincent Lowe
Loved the chefs tasting menu! Cocktails are amazing. Very cool vibe. - Natalie Griffin
