Travelodge

One of the many reasons I love Travelodge is the consistency of the experience. You know that the blocked drain and dubious stains on the carpet come as standard.

Clean and spacious room , but too much noise from the street. Shower curtain doesn't give you much space and wraps you during shower . I've skipped breakfast as per numerous recommendations.

One of the best value central hotels . But it's tired and traffic noise is significant.

Is clean and friendly bar staff but smells of weed when I stayed

Receptionist was really nice and helpful. Room is spacious and neat. I think it's worth every pound I paid.

Spacious and great quality rooms

Too noisy with the window open but well glazed. Hope the weather is not to warm because of this. Parking £15 x24h. Fish and chips should be avoided but the half roast chicken is respectable. 6/10

Very handy for exmouth Market - dated, but for a pre-booked £20 or so per night per room very good value !

Very nice hotel . Minimal staff but the breakfast is great.

Staff are really friendly and helpful if you need anything. Could do with a re-vamp

Check towels, sheets and especially the cup before use. Not necessarily clean , even worse, not changed after someone used. The walls so thin that you can hear what's going on. Will Never come again!

Ground floor rooms are very noisy . Especially room 6 which is right beside the door

One thing I will give it are the staff are better than all the other TL 's in KingsCross.

Further away from Kings Cross than we imagined, walked past 2 other TL 's to get there.

Breakfast is good! But the beds are proper shite!

Friendly staff but very disorganized

Avoid room 514. Incredibly small room. No temp controls (and it is roasting), only two coat hangers, the world's smallest bars of soap and no phones in rooms. Very noisy outside. Worst Travelodge Ever

Just don't eat breakfast here. Good cafes in direction of Kings Cross.

Try and get room at back of hotel . Far quieter .

Awfully noisy inside hotel . Traffic I can handle but I wasn't able to sleep until 6am due to racket. Cleaners don't clean when your out either - left wrappers. Cheap&central but don't expect to sleep.

Others exaggerate this is a budget hotel but pretty decent and comfortable

Room was ok & better than other Travelodges I have stayed in. If you can't sleep through traffic noise then don't book in here as it is very noisy .

Staff lovely, hotel noisy , uncomfortable. Check in at 3 but the cleaners were still in our room at 3.30. After the trek from KC we had to sit and wait downstairs. Doubt we'd come back here.

Robertos the barman is very rude! Not the best Travelodge, downstairs is nice but rooms are cramped and old fashioned.

Stayed there a couple of months ago. The room stank even before I was in it. Charged £100 quid or there abouts for the priveledge.

You have to pay extra money for wifi connection , and the buffet is very poor

Room large, bed OK. Relatively expensive for a hotel that is rather worn and battered. Bad traffic noise . Off my list except in emergencies

Water in The bathroom is or too hot or too cold. Wi-fi in Room is too expansive. Not good

Don't buy the food, it's terrible. Drink is expensive so bring your own, it's the only thing that gets you through your stay!

Honestly, look for a nice spot under a bridge , rather than stayin here: dirty ,, noisy , clammy. In 1st floor you have the noise from the air conditioning and the late night shop and can't sleep!

If you stay here, only rooms 1-6 all others are shit.

Don't eat the bacon at breakfast , it is grim
