I'm a shit negotiator & definitely overpaid by a lot despite my best efforts—consolation if you, like me, let yourself get ripped off: clothing prices are still a bargain compared to American prices.

If you want some small souvenirs from Bali - this is the best place to buy it by reasonable price. Place with its unique atmosphere, not everyone will like it.

Come early in the morning (before 8am) if you want fresh food . After 11am, the farmer's market is closed and you'll only find sarongs and souvenirs .

Three rules: 1. Don't come after 8-9am if you want to visit the traditional stalls. Later, it's only Chinese made products for tourists ; 2. Bargain the prices ; 3. Sellers only take fresh cash.

So much stuff! It's cheaper than Hanoman or Monkey Forest Rd. Good deals & you can bargain.

I sure have seen more interesting markets but go have a look there is always something to discover????

Be cheeky and get the bargain. Scarf 20000, turkosh trousers 50000, sandstone statues 70000/pair...

Es gibt wie immer auf solchen Märkten an jedem stand das gleiche aber das weis man ja wenn man hier her geht. Ansonsten gibt es eben viele unangenehme Gerüche. Für den üblichen touri Einkauf perfekt.
