Beavertails are a Canadian dessert . It's a pastry with different topping choices. I had the classic to have an abridged taste of Canadians sweets and enjoyed it! They also serve warm drinks like cocoa
Cozy location for people watching while you warm your hands on a nice hot cup of cocoa/coffee and enjoy your Beavertail. Cash only though...
Pretty much everything here is amazing. I reckon one could be shared by two of them as it gets very heavy after a period of time considering its very sweet. Apple cinnamon , banana , etc.
《 cinnamon 》 my preferred choice is to go simple. good price, good snack . highly recommend to stop and get one!
If you just saw the pastry without knowing its name, wouldn't put 2&2 together. That being said they're delicious especially in the winter & they have lots of flavors. The 1st store ever was in Ottawa
Mandatory stop in Ottawa ! Lovely atmosphere with the dude singing and playing guitar in the sun next to the stall
Beavertails were delicious and with a lot of topping, which I love.
A signature Ottawa dish. I started with the classic original but they have many other types including chocolate and bananas .
Nice service and the beavertail with nutella is delicious.
Always a treat ! If your from Ottawa then you know Beavertails are a just delicious and a tradition!
Ordering a beavertail with no butter and solely cinnamon sugar makes them a secretly vegan delight.
If are in Ottawa renewing your American Visa, go here every day you are waiting for your Visa to be processed. ????
Try the Kilahoe Sunrise ! A must in the winter
Be sure to use your beaver tail as a slapping apparatus. It's a common Ottawa greeting.
Yummy! Apple Pie Beavertail is too sweet imho.
I was surprised by the maple butter . It's excellent!
A great Canadian tradition especially during the Winterlude season!
Probably the best food in all of Canada.

A classic in Ottawa unless you're at the right time to have one thawing your fingers on the Rideau canal .

The Classic. Cinnamon and sugar.
The original beaver tail makers... And they're amazing!!!

Amazing! Must have in Ottawa!

The Maple Butter is gooey & good.

It's a bad bad addiction. Can't pass without indulging in one.

Beaver tail
The Oreo one is awesome!
So messy but so worth it
Maple butter with a dash of chocolate .
Kilahoe Sunrise is the way to go
My favourite is the Kilahoe Sunrise Beavertail!
Avalanche is fantastic.
try a beavertail in a nice cold Ottawa winter day!!
Beautiful on the patio. The view is nice if you get a spot upstairs. Live music on Saturdays. I love the desserts! - Veronika
Best place to eat in Ottawa! Get the pulled chicken sandwich or the St Louis style ribs. Don't forget the corn bread! - K B
This is the real deal! You just feel in the south of France. Levain french baguettes and real butter croissants. Try the Epi on week end, kind of fougasse with white ham and grain mustard. To die for! - Frank More
