Florian is a must-stop whilst in Venice. Very expensive , but worth it for a quick lunch & people watching . Recommend the Pasta e faglioli Florian & pomegranate Bellini (seasonal). Exceptional service.
Impossible to come to Venezia and not to go to Florian Caffè. Order a tea or a cappuccino , with ice creams or pastries and listen the live classic music . It is out of time !
A great place to pop too for an afternoon high tea , the food is divine. I'd recommend a tea to go with your meal as the coffee is a bit over extracted here. Great service! And they do Macaroons !
The hot chocolate is incredible but extremely rich! The apple tart was also delicious. Its a bit costly but so worth it, listening to the amazing musicians .
Loved their after noon tea ????. Very nice design and music ???? however it’s June now and there wasn’t air conditioning in the indoor section so set outside at least there’s ventilation
The loveliest atmosphere, the most exceptional service , in Italy's (and one of the world's as well ) most impressive place! The waiters are Gentlemen, every detail has its "Why". A place like no other.
A very beautiful historic cafe with great quality, very friendly Service and classical live music . Despite the high prices you should visit it at least once in your life.
Great place for afternoon drinks. It's a must when in Venice. Beware as there is a 6 euros surcharge per person during the afternoon for the music . You don't know until the bill is at your table.
I love it, 300s years of cafe experience. We had the three balls of ice cream , espresso macchiato , tiramisu Malbank& iced coffee . Be aware it’s very very expensive but the history & vibe are worth it.
This historic cafe has both indoor and piazza seating, and is one of Venices most famous tourist spots. The food is excellent and the cakes are first class . However when its busy service can be slow.
Because of the history&the opulent ambient, take sometime out and have coffee&croissant here.May be pricey but worth it.Nice tins of tea to take home as souveniers
The prices are up to the Moon, but desserts are totally worth it. Try to be there when the sun is up, or you might get cold while you eat your ice cream whipped cream dream.
Cafe Florian is a place you must visit in Venice - preferably once during the day, and once at night when the live music begins. Overall, an unforgettable experience.
Turistic place at Piazza San Marco, too pricy they even charge you live music per song (each 6 euro ) but best coffee ever. Tasty sandwiches and quiche
Nice place to relax for a couple of hours. The offer good food and coffee . I would suggest cappuccino and hot chocolate . It is expensive (one cup around 10 euros ) and they'll charge you 6 for music .
In The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Tom Ripley—played by Matt Damon—sits down at this café in busy St. Mark’s Square with Marg (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Herbert (James Rebhorn). Read more
Great cozy little place in the heart of saint marks square. Ordered one espresso drink and one gelato dessert for 30 euros !! Expensive but worth a visit for the experience.
Great place, good coffee , déco cosy , good music . The best café in venice. SPLENDIDE❤️
Yes there's a €6/person cover charge . However the views are awesome, the music is great - just get with it. Portions are small. Get a bottle of house prosecco . Enjoy your time there.
Very good, but very expensive ! Be aware of the music surcharge: €6 per person. For two non-alcoholic drinks our bill was €37! Good location and service, and beautiful interiors .
Since 1720. Unique atmosphere right in the heart of Piazza San Marco. Fabulous chocolate , friendly service , lovely live music in a magic location. An absolutely worthy self-gift! Buon appetito!
One of my favourite places in Venice, historical boutique . Truly recommended "Il Caffè dell'Imperatore" and the wide range of teas ! Must stop if it's your first time in S. Marco !
Home of the $20 cappuccino ! Just ignore the bill and enjoy the experience of listening to music and people/pigeon watching on San Marco at the oldest coffee shop in Venice
Nice atmosphere... beautiful classic interior, delicious coffee . Long service, expensive .
Coffee here is a must, if you are in Venice. This is the oldest café in the world. Ufff but 9euro for cappuccino ;-/
Free snacks with your Spritz. Live music ???? makes for a lovely atmosphere; 6 Euro is added to bill for the musicians . Totally worth it!
Nice decoration, delicious food... That is not the only thing I'd like to say. Are you willing to pay a lot, even 6 EUR/pp for the music that you do not hear while sitting inside? Then try Florian:)
Fancy cafe , great atmosphere.. apple pie highly recommended, latte macchiato and tiramisu were nice too
Quiet place inside, decadent dessert , great place to enjoy music or people watch at the square.
Florian the first coffee house in Europe. Coffee came from Turkish people & they find it strong for their taste so they mixed it with honey & cream turned to brown color then they call it Cappuccino
Delicious coffee and extraordinary setting. Prices are crazy and the 6€ charge for the music is simply indecent. Not the best spritz in town though.
We tried the hot chocolate and the coffee ! Lovely experience generally is a must do for tourists
Great spot to have a nice break during your trip, right in the middle of San Marco. service was great, price can be intimidating. €12 charge for live music performance
In a city of faded splendour this place is a wonderful throwback to centuries past, and a fantastic story if it was indeed the first ever coffee shop
Good food and teas , but extremely expensive . 4 sandwiches , 2 teas and a beer 100 euros . And they charge for the music , whether you like it or not, or there's a screaming child next to you.
Historical place with many things to enjoy, could seem a bit pricy but its worth every single penny.
Beautiful and historic cafe with delights and service to match. But it is quite pricy .
I would come here every single day of my life... Amazing, cozy place with loads of character
We sat out side and had drinks and a light snack . Very pleasant and relaxing listening to music and people watching .
This is the kind of a place you definitively should visit Venice. Amazing. The history, the food, the coffee .
The coffee and pastries are a bit normal, service is good, better to sit here and relax at night with music ! Romantic
Excellent view of the san marco square, live music , professional waitors and service, and a refreshing drink . Everything one can ask for.
The hot chocolate tastes like heaven ???????????? The club sandwiches are also tasty????
You feel like you're in another time period. Lovely place to get some tea , and listen to the beautiful quartet.
you may go there just to enjoy the ambience, totally worths it.
Nice setting, inside or out in the square if you're into that. Very fancy , old, vibe. And even though it's expensive it's not crazy expensive .
Classic, sumptuous, splendid, a must when in Venice
Expansive but the location worth it. And also they will charge you for the music which was fine with us.
Hot chocolate is divine. Gluten free options are limited, the gluten free bread they offer comes packed, so it’s not fresh.
Cappuccino is good, atmosphere is good but you need to pay 6 euro each for the live music !
Terrific service. Excellent wine and apps. Prime location to take in the atmosphere in San Marco square. - Jan Freeman
Enjoy fabulous ambience of San Marco square with live music & mouth-pleasing drinks of Quadri - Merve Uca
Always crowded but wonderful photo opps, several cafes to choose from for people watching, and great designer shopping - Jan Freeman
Beautiful bridge, and it provides a great view on the busy Canal Grande as well! - David Chung
