The sunsets can't be beat and they serve alcohol on board! Will say, having a Clipper card saves a lot of headache when boarding.
Water bottles are $2 at the bar . They also have booze, wine , beer and many other options. Snacks too.
If the weather is sunny and not too cold sit out back on the deck. It's a lovely ride.
If you're out on the deck, hold on to your hats! It gets real windy once the ferry picks up speed.
Now serving canned Bloody Marys from Cutwater
Get a Jack 'n' Ginger at the bar for $5.50. Best cure for a long day at work.
Bring noise-canceling headphones for the mid-day sailings -- they're full of tourists who can't shut up.
Watch out for pushy self-entitled bankers and lawyers on the morning commute.
Get a coke and enjoy the ride

Huge line, especially on the sunny weekend day but offeres great view of SF and Alcatraz. - Maja Petkovic
Whenever I travel to SF for business from Sacramento I always take the Baylink Ferry. It's an easy drive, then a quick ride across the bay. No traffic and stress free. - Jay Dillon
Awesome (if a little pricy) market inside, and ferry rides out the back. Worth going on Saturday for the farmer's market. - Dana
