Yes, it kinda looks like a tourist trap, but it's one of the few worth letting it catch you. Breakfast almost all day, amazing Benedicts and authentic pissed off New Yorker waiters .

Weekdays are great, weekends your hostess and waitress walk around with scowls on their faces and take 15 minute breaks at booths to complain to each other.

Defines the hustle and bustle of a new york morning. Coffee is bad but fruit bowl is delicious!

People rave about their pancakes , I find their French onion soup quite good as well .

Civilians dining in Pershing Square come under attack from the Chitauri and take refuge in the cafe under the Park Avenue Viaduct in Avengers Assemble (2012).

Tomatoes and mozzarella featured on their restaurant week 2015 list is amazing! A friend and I split a three course meal for $38

Food was so so but the diner experience is something very local and makes it worth going to.

If you don't want to sit up front, just ask the hostess . They'll most likely find you a table in the main dining room. Also, sub a salad instead of potatoes on any breakfast dish for no extra charge.

Great to have a bus meeting. If you order good and or drink request the red booth as it provides a level of privacy.

Great turkey burger . Nice to sit outside in the spring and summer.

Quite an experience having breakfast under the Grand Central Terminal viaduct ! The corned beef hash was excellent!
