The *best* bakery in Seattle. period. this place is one of the only places that truly excel in real European style breads with a crust to die for, amazing aroma and hearty texture. a must for bread .
The girls at the counter weren't super friendly but I guess that I'm not there to make friends. Croissants are yummy buttery and flakey.
The best bakery in Seattle by far. Everything is amazing. Baguettes , scones , croissants , cakes and pies just to name a few with kick a$$ coffee to accompany your choices.
The savory bread pudding was delicious. Right now they are selling to go pastries packaged two per box - so you have to get two of each kind if you want a variety.
JC loves the Mortadella Sandwich , we're both addicted to the granola , and I haven't found ANYTHING here that I don't like. YUM! Best bread in Seattle !
I like so many things, but quiche and pretzel rolls are my favorites
Friendly people, good coffee and food, I especially love the coconut cake and pistachio cake
Excellent bread ! Soft pretzels are perfect for a snack on the way home!
Walnut or Sunflower bread are great! Also good to get a kitchen sink cookie if possible
Gougère & a tall drip coffee or a double-short Americano = excellent commuter breakfast while walking to the light rail station
Everything is yummy! Skip Starbucks and get your coffee from a local business. Columbia City Bakery has everything you need!
Haven’t been in a while but used to be a regular. It’s really great!
Try anything, it's all good. But I really love the pain au chocolat , pistachio snails , and the tortas
quiches usually sell out by 2pm and are always delicious. Check out the cute consignment shop next door too!
I'm allergic to dairy and avoid soy, so the fact that they have rice milk is a huge bonus!
You have the option to purchase kid-sized cookies (instead of humongous ones you find in other bakeries )!

They have the best tuna salad sandwich I've ever had.
Definitely try the quiche !
The pear-cardamom coffee cake is always a good choice.
Servers are too chatty with each other! They messed up my order, then gave me a substitute which is NOT what I wanted! Stop socializing with each other and pay attention to your damn customers!
Buy a loaf of sourdough and ask them to slice it for you. Don't blame me if you eat the whole thing. I'm not kidding.
Try the pain au chocolate ! It's delicious!
They carry some gluten-free items.
