Their siew mai is $6.30 a basket... But the huge prawn that tops the dumpling is huge and acts as a "handle" so that u can lift the whole siew mai by the tail and feed yourself ☺️
The Peking duck tastes great and is served with style. Plenty of flavour and nice crispy skin . Second course choice of lettuce wraps (San Choy bow), fried rice or noodles . Sauce is perfect.
Try the vegetables with deep fried enoki mushroom on top. This proves that you can deep fry mushrooms and make them amazing. Also try the garlic pork even though it's not listed on the menu.
Refined Chinese cuisine . Skilled chefs . This Dragon Tiger garoupa soaked in fish soup is rich with flavours ????????
Chee Cheong Fun with a twist, the batter is infused with red yeast and stuffed with soft shell crab ... Didn't even need the accompanying sauce
This fried octopus is only available during weekends and public holidays at $12 a plate. Small plate . But so well fried (over fried and it may turn out like rubber) and marinated lightly...
Great food ! The chefs double boiled soup was excellent , dim sums were first class and service great !
Restaurant claims to sell 150 servings per week of their dong xing garoupa (with crispy rice & superior stock). Source: Sunday Times
Their Har Kow is yummy!!! Thin pliable skin and huge huge prawn ❤️❤️ ordered 4 baskets ????
Steamed bbq pork buns are the best. Light and fluffy buns , pork is very tender mixed with smokey bbq sauce ... Heavenly
Their recommended chicken with mango pastry . Pastry is short and sweet. My fussy mummy asked for another lot!!
$8 a pop but pure mango purée used... No essences for sure!
After you're done with most of your Peking duck , ask the chef to use the leftover meat for an egg noodles stirfry dish. Never fails to hit the spot.
Really good roast duck . And for those who like wasabi , the wasabi prawns really packs a punch! Not for the faint hearted!
Must have been yummy cuz family asked for another once the first was inhaled!
This is the foie gras stuffed one... Also didn't get a chance to eat it... HAHAHHA spent too much time taking pics ...
Chinese tea . $3.50 per person (refillable). We enjoyed the smoky pu-erh tea
The char siew pao not solid enough to remember ????
Food was good in the past. But now the food is no longer as good as before. Disappointed. Service is bad too. It’s a fine dining restaurant but not fine dining service.
Everything is good except the price.
Charcoal venison bun , mango chicken tartlet . Custard with salted egg could be skipped. Red rice paper with fish could be skipped.
Baked chicken and mango tartlets are good! My fav was the soup dumpling .
Something like aw nee but not... It's like a super yummy gruel with a sesame glutinous rice ball in it... Not cloyingly sweet ... Yum!
Still, I love the one at Vincent's Kitchen...
The dim sum is nice, make sure to book your space in advance
Lovely roast duck and custard buns . Try also the shark cartilage noodles , it's divine!
Stick to the dim sum .
The roasted duck is really good! Try it.
Try the Chives & Pork In Rice Rolls
Food is fine but absolutely abominable service. You'll wait 45min between dim sum dishes despite a half empty restaurant , and nobody will notice that you've not been fed until you complain. Skip it.
Overhyped! Food and service below expectations!
The Peking duck here is pure awesomeness!
Didn't get a chance to eat this either... Only took a pic... ???? was too slow to pick at it!
Check out the Chicken and mango pies !
Love their tim sum and roast duck
The crab roe porridge is overly priced and not worth it at all… do not order such off menu item
Suckling pig !
The wanton noodle here is heavenly but be prepared to pay a premium for it.
The roast duck here is excellent!
Hua Ting serves the best fried rice !
Roast pork is awesome
Don't bother with this place. Quality of food has dropped, and they seem to employ retards as service staff . The more retarded, the more they seem to value them. Thanks for spoiling my birthday lunch .
Great dimsum here
New partying plc with nice r&b music... Ppl who love Siam tune, this should b another party plc... - Yvonne Poh
Pretty hidden away on orchard road, giving it a much relaxed ambience. - Elizabeth Lee
Perhaps the oldest dim sum restaurant in Singapore, Red Star has a family run feel, and really good food. Expect to wait for tables on a weekend. - Keith Blodorn
Iced okra ($6.60) was an interesting cold dish. Chilled chopped garlic & light soy sauce combine to give the lady’s finger a refreshing taste - Cheen The Curious
The 4 Heavenly Kings, a must try, especially so for Baked Bun with BBQ Pork & Carrot Cake. Loved their Osmanthus Cake dessert as well ^^ - Mark Tan
Indonesian meal at the food court very yummy. This picture is my fav. Package 1 chicken and squid with Indonesian curry sauce. - Annie Auj
