Great music club on Bourbon . Not for those looking for cheap cover pop music to go w/ your Hurricane. This is maybe the only bona fide place to just hear good, old school jazz .

This is a tiny bar with mind boggling jazz . It was completely packed for a reason when we went there. If you love jazz you must check it out!

Jazz in the afternoon. Walking the quarter and thought spicy bloody mary would refresh (as one does in Vieux Carre). Knowing jazz was great, the mary was spicy , and did I say the jazz damn sure was.

Like many venues, this small bar/pub has live music - usually an amazing jazz band ... they took requests, chatted with the crowd, all very personable!!! No cover, but ya must order at least one drink

The entertainment is so good it can play to a mellowed crowd, calming even the most rowdy of residents. Here? A live European jazz band . Order a liter of beer , you’ll be here a while.

Great Jazz found by surprise. Get there when the Shotgun Jazz Band are playing. They are great!! Drinks were quite good.

Sitting at the bar is fine, but move to the ringside to get your socks wet - as we say in NOLA.

Pricey drinks but fun atmosphere . Did we hve fun TOTALLY. Did we pay 14 dollars for a Long Island ...yeah

Fritzels is a great respite from the craziness of Bourbon Street. Pay the super cheap cover and enter a world of foot tapping old-school jazz . They sell take out drinks but you'll want to stay.

By far the best bar in the quarter, authentic jazz and good drinks.

Music is great! A little pricy . Service almost ruined it. If you hate being a waitress , don't be a waitress . It's worth it though.

Bare jäger & Warsteiner and awesome Dixie Land NOLA jazz , cannot go wrong here

try to enjoy the music and the atmosphere, even though the waitresses are all total bitches. they're not happy that you're here, they don't thank you or seem to give a crap after you tip them.

The sets are really short and there is a Drink minimum. The staff is fairly misleading about all of this though the music is good.
