This is a beautiful theatre ... spacious seats and great sight-lines from every angle + helpful that the stage is large and protrudes into the orchestra !!!! Foyer area has lots of seating to hang out

Glenn Mondry

I love this theater . Every seat is a good seat. You can't go wrong. Oh...and The King and I was AMAZING! I strongly recommend seeing it.

Named for former actress/philanthropist. Opening evening in 1965 was Danton's Death starring James Earl Jones. Building designed by Eero Saarinen who also designed St. Louis Arch. More info in blog. Read more

Elegant Lincoln Center Theater - most seats are excellent, production values always top notch.

L. T.

A beautiful, spacious venue with a great view from no matter where you sit. Good amount of leg room compared to other theaters . The ushers were also very nice.

Patrick Lynch

Amazing theater , and impressive production of King and I. The stage extended out over the orchestra pit to create a "theater in the round" experience that really made the show more immersive.

Miguel Gonzalez

Entrance on West 65th Street will require a few stairs to get to the box office and more stairs to get to the Orchestra section which is the same section as the largest rest rooms for both Men and Wom

Parin Lad

My Fair Lady with my wonderful friend Harry starring. Great building - house seats very decent. Double measure of wine was huge!

eric bornemann

By far the most impressive stage on Broadway due to its incredible depth. And except for the far sides all of the seats are great.

ᴡ B

One of the best constructed theaters on Broadway . Not a bad seat in the house. Comfortable seating in the lobby lounge areas as well .

Linda Miklowitz

Wonderful one-woman play Ann , performed by playwright, Holland Taylor , opens Thursday, March 7. In previews now. It's about the life of the late Texas governor and mother of four, Ann Richards.

Surprisingly uncomfortable seating for such a new theater . Leg room is like the older Broadway theaters . I’m 5’ 11” and my knees were jammed into the seat in front. Will avoid this theater

Leslie Greenbaum

Great theatre place for broadway shows

Steph Schneider

Round theater . Everything I've seen here was extraordinary

Mr Maggio

Excelente theater , a completely different zone to times & south manhattan. It's a must

Irina Perfect

Macbeth is an absolutely must see show. One of the best productions I have seen in a long while.

Bryan Nye

Great theater with an intimate setting . Not really a bad seat in the house!

Trae F

Perfect sized theater . Not a bad seat in the house.

MrsCorkster

Roomy seats and an interesting layout make this a better theater than other venues.

Corey Gallai

The play Ann was great. If you get a chance see it. Holland Taylor was excellent!!! Saw her after the show.

Josh Weinberger (@kitson)

Love this theatre . Most recently: "Coast of Utopia" marathon + "South Pacific." Even Loge has great views - but avoid the far-left + far-right Orch seats. Locker coatchecks in Loge: Bring quarters! Read more

If you only see one play on Broadway this year, make sure it's War Horse ! It was absolutely amazing.

Greg Bauer

Arena Theatre means great sight lines !

Julie Dumas

Currently watching the King and I. Watch out for a ship heading your way as it moves across the entire stage! ????????????

Nicole Valles

Flying over sunset was great!

Paul Gauger

Spacious with good acoustics .

Amy Carothers

Oslo nominated for Best Play!

My idea of #Actor heaven is 8 shows a week in the #MitziNewhouse

Russell Davis

Avoid Orchestra Center Row J as there is not enough leg room for anyone over 5’6”. The same row on the right or left sides is fine.

Stephen Hutton

Don't hesitate to get front row tickets - they made it feel like they were performing just for me. Fell in love with Laura Osnes as Ensign Nellie Forbush

Anne O'Shea

Don't forget! ANN on BROADWAY, the Ann Richards play starring Holland Taylor , starts previews here Feb. 18th for a March 7th 2013 opening!

Plaza , architecture

Kristen Peirano

All seats are great seats!

Aran Thrasher

The seats are really narrow so skip a few meals before the show.

Maria

Ethan Hawke as Macbeth and Daniel Sanjata as Macduff were phenomenal

Lizzie Borden
