The Tonkotsu Red Ramen is absolutely fantastic, great pork broth made with Berkshire pork belly chashu , kikurage, menma, green onion , kuro mayo , and nori .
Sakuramen serves up ramen that will leave you floored. With some influence from Korean cuisine, the Chosun, which features roasted kimchi and bulgogi made from Angus ribeye , cannot be missed. Read more
Their ramen is incredible and their spicy pork buns are as well . The service is very fast, the prices are fair , and the staff are very nice. I definitely recommend it.
First impression of the place was underground street-like restaurant & little tight. Tends to get full fast especially in weekends. Tried the Red Tonkotsu (8/10) and steamed pork Gyoza (8/10).
Came here at 11:30am and they had awesome songs as we ordered and ate. We sang along to all the songs it was like we were karaoking in the morning! Ramen and gyozas were good, buns were't that great.
This is the best ramen spot in DC. Incredible customer service & delicious ramen . Make sure to get the bulgogi steamed buns while you hungrily wait for your steaming bowl of ramen .
Chasu Buns were a great starter and the Tonkatsu Ramen was excellent! Perfectly cooked noodles , fresh woodear mushrooms & delicious pork belly . 4/5 spicy is good if you have a decent heat tolerance.
Ramen , spicy buns , gyoza all wonderful but order a take away : music is impossibly loud + even when there is a visible Q, some selfish punters don't get off their chairs and leave once they finish
great ramen ! & really cool hot young guys serving whats not 2 love. just dont expect a cocktail none of the waiters r old enough 2 serve. this small space is can only fit all that wonderful ramen
The hot teas , both citron and ginger are so, so good. Loved the steamed buns . Ramen still not *quite* as good as Toki, but the other things make up for it.
The music is a bit loud , but as the music selection is great (mainly 90s hits!) it's alright. Tasty gyozas , great ramens and mochi ice creams .
This place is amazing! Never disappoints! Servers and service is great! And the food... Ohhh the food...is just from heaven!
Spicy Miso Ramen with extra pork , soft boiled egg , and 2 extra fireballs. Mmmph!
Spicy miso was very good! You can choose spiciness from 1-10. I recommend 5-7 if you like spicy food but don't want your mouth to be on fire.
Start your meal of right with the Spicy Pork Buns , really delicious and a great appetizer before ramen .
Fab food with a great staff . I always have a good meal here. Especially like ordering something for pick-up on rainy days! Warm comfort food to bring home and share.
I had the tonkostu mild and wasn't entitely impressed. The dish was fine, but there was nothing exceptional about it except the chasu. The chasu was delicious and the cut wasn't too fatty.
I had tonkatsu red ramen and it was awesome! Bolgogi bun is must have. Excellent service ! My 2 years old daughter enjoyed noodle ,bun , & mochi ★☆
Frequently crowded , as it should be - you can't go wrong with their variety of rich ramen . Don't skip the pork buns !
This is one of the best ramen places I've been to in DC. The Chashu Buns are amazing! To top it all off the customer service is perfect!!
If there's a wait, don't worry about having to wait in line-the owner will take your mobile down and text you when your table is ready so you're free to walk around!
Hands down, best ramen in DC. The other places may have the atmosphere, but nothing beats the broth here.
Perfect for dates. Absolutely fantastic ramen . Plenty spicy too.
Impressive ramen , springy noodles with just the right chewy texture. Get the red tonkotsu and add an egg .
The standout at Sakuramen is the vegetarian ramen . It features a broth of Japanese kelp, layers of bamboo shoots , corn and mushrooms marinated like Korean bulgogi . Read more
The broth for the spicy miso ramen is complex and delicious. The service here is great. They remember everyone/everything!
The house Sakuramen and spicy ramen are awesome, random/good 90s early 00s jams playing are a plus (imho).
Great service and food -- had the vegetarian ramen noodles with the mushroom buns , delicious! Probably best not to come with a big group tho since space is ltd.
Mm those buns . The shoki ramen was full of delicious meat. But the buns ? They stole the show for me.
The spicy pork buns were delicious and I really enjoyed the shoki ramen .
Seriously THE best ramen in DC. Spicy miso ramen and chashu buns are a must have.
The buns are AMAZING and the ramen is on point: great broth, perfectly cooked noodles , and spicy !
Small spot for awesome ramen in Adams Morgan. Try the ramen with kimchi and never skip the buns !
The ramen is very good but you can find better in DC... the real reason to come here is the pork belly buns
Come hungry and the spicy miso will hit the spot like nothing else, 7 on the heat scale is a really nice amount.
Great ramen . The gojiramen is, unintuitively, better than the tonkatsu ramen .
Come to this tiny, underground ramen restaurant to try its spicy miso ramen , bulgogi buns , fiery kimchi and gyoza : Read more
Get the tonkatsu ramen . The Berkshire pork belly is top-notch.
They consider sriracha a spicy level of 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. I'm usually calling uncle at 8 (and I lllooovvveeee spicy food ).
The buns are out of this world and the ramen is great too. Perfect ramen portion size
Vegetarian ramen is a 10. Absolutely loved it. Hubby loved the pork buns .
15 min wait at 1:30pm - Wonderful ambience and smells heavenly 🍜
Pork belly pork buns were delicious
