Best grocery store in DC. A hidden gem . If you are looking for something and they don't carry it the manager may offer to start carrying it. So much batter than Harris teeter across the way.

If someone is in the aisle looking at something and u must ride ur cart thru whatever they're looking at, just say "excuse me" people...damn! #irritating!

My favorite Safeway on the Hill . Just pack your patience. The one @ Benning Road & Hechniger Mall has been the sight of a shooting since I've lived here! YIKES!!!

Nice selection and definitely cheaper than Harris Teeter . Just be prepared to spend a long ass time in the checkout line .

There are some rachet people that work and shop here. Get in and out as fast as you can.

Get here early on Sundays or really late. The aisles are half empty by six o clock.

If you like long checkout lines , bad produce, screaming children, and a feeling that security is watching your every move, this Safeway is for you!

Cone at 9:30 when it is empty. Makes shopping much more pleasent.

Please don't approach a sales clerk without saying Hello,.. Etc they go ham

They have mice. One ran over my daughter's foot. Fix it.

Produce from here seems to last longer than the same from Harris Teeter

Don't let Althea in Deli make your sandwich ... she'll give you... don't ask for extra lettuce.

All I can say is its better than the one at Hechinger Mall .

Make sure you bring back your plastic bags for recycling !

The cashiers are slow and the store is usually a mess!

Staff is downright RUDE. Don't go.

Pharmacy = SLOW

ワシントンDCのホステルに宿泊しましたが、なかなか良いスーパーでした。日本みたいにお一人様用は無いのね。おもしろいです。最高！
