Quint place - Soufflé eggs steamed on a espresso machine are AMAZING, so fluffy & lite. Waffles with choice of fresh fruit (love the bananas ), put the coconut syrup on them, soooo yummy. Great coffee
Incredible waffles !!!! The tastiest I've ever tried and I'm a fan of them. Friendly staff . Good local coffee . The atmosphere of a relaxed cafe typical for Hollywood movies . Worth checking out!!! :-)
Terry is a jewel! Quick witted, lovable, and equipped with jokes galore. He added so much joy to our breakfast experience there. I will definitely be returning when I visit Hilo again!
Most fun coffee shop on the whole island . "Bear " has the most entertaining poking fun attitude. People come just to be entertained as bear serves clients. Produce and eggs come from his farm .

Some of the best entertainment is had at Bear 's, with his loving Catty remarks to his customers.. Lots of fun,,, a real community feel when I am there. And Bear 's food Rocks...

For a place that's selling its self as a "coffee shop " (with a coffee menu !) I don't understand why the decafe is so bad-super stale perhaps? I drink a lot of decafe- worst I've had for a long time

Amazing views. Quite big for a day visit. A car is a nessesity. Nice postcards in the visitor center. Some of the trails are closed because of vulcanic activity. - Martin Kunz
