This is a hidden gem in LA, right at the top of Coldwater Canyon and Mulholland. There are some really cool trails and a spot with picnic tables , that you could bring lunch or a coffee and hang out.
Learning about trees and conservation. There is a beautiful little stage. Great place to hike , I tend to go off the beaten path but the loop is awesome.
This is a great way to have an eco-friendly afternoon. Pack a lunch and take your garbage home with you. Recycle as much as you can. Love the planet.
This LA-based nonprofit has helped spearhead ecotourism by offering opportunities for visitors to volunteer . For 30+ years, Treepeople has helped plant trees , educating people about the environment.
Moonlight hikes are a great opportunity to see the park after sunset and listen to Hollywood couples talk about what shows they're watching and whose agent sucks more.
TreePeople inspires people to make the urban environment safe, healthy, fun, and sustainable. On 9/20/11 UCLA volunteers will maintain the trails and clean up the park . Join us in this effort.
Enjoy! Bring water. Beautiful views from the top.
Sunset runs (with or without a gorgeous dog!) are the scene and be seen in summer!
For UCLA Volunteer Day 2012 (Sep 25), a hundred volunteers will be here to maintain trailers and prep for TreePeople’s annual fundraiser, Harvest Moon!
