Neue Nationalgalerie

Space is fantastic. Went to see Otto Piene 's expo and it was amazing. The sense of space there is great, and the construction is pretty cool by itself. Well equipped too.

A small contemporary museum in the shadow of Potsdamer Platz so very exhibit-dependent, but a great example of Mies van der Rohe 's architecture in Berlin.

Go visit this wonderful landmark building by Mies van der Rohe . The collection of modern art is incredible as is the sculpture garden .

After a period of continual use for 46 years, the New National Gallery designed by Mies van der Rohe was closed in January 2015 for several years of renovation lead by UK architect David Chipperfield.

Worth alone for the architecture . Permanent collection on show is massive.

They often change the exposition so make sure you check whats new before you go.

Quite nice place, however sad guys at the entrance, controlling tickets are not very friendly-randomly asking to leave the bag in the cloakroom. Would be fine when the rule is applied to everybody.

Could be most wonderful place if the staff didn't start to push us out like silent police dogs 15 minutes before the closing time , shop and cafe allready closed and no possibility of using wc.

SHAME: closing time was 6 pm. They started closing rooms at 5.45 and the bookshop was already closed even if it shouldn't. So un-professional for a National gallery . My compliments to german rigidity.

Dissapointed as they charge you the full price even when they shut down half of the museum for changing collections.

Terrible unfriendly service

La galería estará cerrada durante unos años pero el edificio es lo que importa y eso se puede ver en cualquier momento del día. Qué belleza! qué líneas !

Внимание!! Основная экспозиция разъехалась по другим музеям , нет ни кубистов, ни экспрессионистов. Если вы любите современное искусство , то возможно 12 евро за вход того стоят.

Imposant gebouw door Mies van der Rohe. Grote diversiteit aan kunst. Ook minder tot de verbeelding sprekende objecten. Wel heel leuk om alles bij elkaar te zien. (2 pers €24)

Tolles Gebäude mit toller Ausstellung namhafter Künstler . Auf jeden Fall sehenswert.

Tipo um mini Pompidou, acervo não tão bom de expressionistas alemães (tipo o grupo "Der Brücke"), mas não menos importante, num prédio do Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe sensacional.

Die Neue Nationalgalerie befindet sich am Kulturforum. Sie gehört zum Bestand der Nationalgalerie.
