The butterfly conservatory is amazing. The butterflies fly freely and may land on you.
It was fun...shorter visit then aquarium or zoo...the butterfly garden and the show was the most enjoyable parts for my kids.
All exhibits are interesting and well-set up. Impressive and educational !
TSA style security to get in due to it being a federal building, but the Chocolate Chirp cricket cookies make it all worth while.
Butterfly room is by far the best area
Run don't walk to the bug buffet in the back of the museum . It's insane and surprisingly tasty.
The insectarium is below the us customs house so to enter you have to go through an check point and knives and other wepions are banned because it's in an federal government building .
I recommend getn the year membership, its fun for the family and u also get discounted rates o. The 8 other museums
Make sure to bring your floss ... Got a cricket leg stuck between my teeth. The kids love it too.
A little pricey for what they have. Hopefully, they will keep w the $2 Tuesday's for residents
Baby alligator feeding and butterfly room were the highlights.

The place was too small for the price of the ticket. I suggest skipping it.
Can't take pocket knives or guns in. So leave in the car or hotel .
