Fantastic service and beautiful hotel . Spa massage was fantastic (ask for Emin). Wow, so relaxed. Remington bar had delicious food and drinks. Made me a scrumptious grasshopper. Yum!!
As a semi-resident here, I can vouch for the outstanding service levels, consistently-high room standards, and wonderful food in the bar/restaurant. This season's best dish is the seared halibut .
Weekend brunches are not buffet style , rather a set menu with delicious options is offered. This local classic is always a great option for out-of-town guests. Read more
Coffee in the mornings right by the elevator , on the lobby floor. But you're hidden from the actual lobby so you can slip down in your robe and only be seen by other disheveled guests.
If Starwood platinum , make sure to get your breakfast amenity instead of points. Absolutely worth it. Also that amenity can be used every night so don't lose that card.
Harry , the bartender rocks, but if you want to see something truly different, you've got to check out the dance party on Friday and Saturday nights.
St. Regis is known for their Bloody Mary's !!! I never knew they invented it. Ask about it. The story is fun :)
Caroline Hunt spent a reported $60 million when she built the hotel , called the Remington , in 1982. A bit of the Hunt history endures since the bar carries that name.
French Press coffee on the room service menu, how wonderful and the creme brûlée .
The food is awesome. For room service I suggest the Breakfast Burrito , Chicken Panini , Braised Shortribs and Apple Cobbler . Also, High Tea can be served in you room if you so desire.
Save $50 and park at the adjacent parking lot . Literally opposite the hotel . Valet service is awesome but very expensive . The parking lot is only $5.
Best Tea in Houston!! Love this place for special occasions .
The legendary butler service found only at St. Regis will provide an experience far beyond your expectations.
After a day in nearby downtown Houston, relax with a lavender body scrub at the hotel 's spa .
Make sure you stop in the lounge and meet Harry the bartender . He is amazing.
The best hotel in Houston so far
All else is awesome. But why would you have HDTVs without HD service?
I'm off to find Harry the Bartender.......
