Really tasteful yakitori and udon . Very friendly staff . A must go if you enjoy the Japanese kitchen. Try the 2 sake on the photo. Top one is dry, bottom one has more flavour.
Best damn miso I've ever had: with meatballs & big spring onions . Green pepper skewer delicious. Not quite convinced by the chicken&pork skewer ... A bit like white meatloaf .
Tender with wasabi and heart. The liver is also so tender and great. Chu-hi is not as sweet as I'd expect, and the prices are a bit high, but good flavor.
No cash for Ramen Lab? Head here for an authentic Japanese Yakitori experience. Raw octopus on seaweed , warm and crispy rice balls and yakitori cooked and seasoned perfectly.
The yakitori is exceptionally flavorful. We also loved the beef rice ball , the tamago, and the grilled beef tongue .
Very good grill flavor and a nice selection of sake
The pork cheeks and ribs were amazing. Also the chicken wings .
Great yakitori . Nice atmosphere. Reminds of nice izakaya in Tokyo.
Best yakitori between Houston and Canal Street!!!
Duck meatball , chicken thighs grilled perfectly
Grilled salmon and salmon roe salad
The washlet is the model without a drier, so careful how much you rinse
PS Tora is frequented by Japanese people, which says it all
It is decent food, but pricey . I would rather go to Saint Marks where it's more reasonable and lively . It would be good to go on a quiet date.
Is it good? I wouldn't know and probably will never know. Incredibly rude encounter with a female wait staff last night - simply asked how long the wait to be seated would be
Uni chicken and egg over rice
Sapporo beer !
Skewers are all fabulous
Chicken nan ban
Washyu beef
Chiken breast, egplant, tomato skewers are my favs! And also black sesame ice cream ;)
food was average but pricy . extremely rude staff - unheard of.
Sit at the grill bar & watch magic being made! Definitely get the grilled squid, okonomiyaki, & takoyaki! - Grace Rodriguez
Eat all the poke! Traditional tuna is solid as is the salmon with mayo. Collect 'em all! - Bon
Curry udon, clams, and shrimp katsu were all fantastic! Order a bunch of skewers and plates, eat them, and then order a whole bunch more! - Tyler Simmons
Best tacos I have ever eaten. Also first fish tacos I've ever eaten and they were the bomb. - Oscar Ma
