Good for a cocktail prior to a night in the city . Walk through the very cool art gallery and go through the door in the back. Drinks are good, sitting at the bar seemed like the best spot for two
Fun little hidden bar that gets a bit crowded on weekends. The gin cocktail is delicious and refreshing, not a lot of seating but the vibe is loud and fun!
Once you've made your way past the three assorted objects in the "gallery " and into this bar , a) check out the awesome cash machine, and b) order a Vanishing Point, slightly sweet, still refreshing.
Pricey but great cocktails . Try the Midnight in Paris & Blackberry Margarita . Cute but small space. Arrived at 8:45 and got a table, crowd started building up at 9.
Staff is super friendly , and the place has a nice ambiance. I went with the midnight in Paris and it was spectacular. It was the perfect amount of ginger , not too overpowering
Hidden in the back of an art gallery , this spacious (predominantly standing room) speakeasy has well-trained mixologists . Ask for the bartender's choice ; you can't go wrong.
Bar was extremely busy and hard to get service. Saw people walk in and wait 15 mins at the bar just to walk back out. Would come back to try the midnight in Paris at a less prime time
Midnight in Paris is amazing: spicy , chocolate , complicated. The Vanishing Point is sweet, smooth and rich. The Ginger Sling is dangerously refreshing.
The drinks are a bit on the sweet side -- and there's proseco on tap if that's your jam -- but it has a chill vibe in the back of an art gallery that's a great reprieve from the rest of the LES.
Highly recommend the "Midnight in Paris " if you prefer potent and delicious. Get the "Vanishing Point" if you prefer sweet and refreshing.
Loved the atmosphere! Beautiful people! Pinata drink was fun and delish. Mezcal drink was too strong
Cute speakeasy , entrance through an art gallery . Good cocktails but a bit noisy ; my friends and I ended up hoarse after only 30-45 minutes from shouting to have a conversation.
Above Home Sweet Home's ground-floor entrance. Once on the 2nd fl, a bouncer will greet you at what seems to be an art gallery . Through the gallery you'll find Fig 19. Order the jalapeno margarita .
By far one of the best true speakeasies in the city - all the cocktails are amazing! Go early if you want a seat
One of the only places where I'll trust them to make a Sazerac . Also recommended: "Midnight in Paris " and "Vanishing Point"
Cozy , but large enough for group of 4-5 — great music and amazing cocktails in a cool space behind an art gallery
Hidden at the back of an art gallery , this Speakeasy offers some solid cocktail offering
Guaranteed entrance consist of being a member or via invitation. Bartenders are true mixologist. The mood is very friendly , inviting & cozy . The atmosphere is different than any bar I've been to.
One of my most favorite speakeasy bars . All cocktails are good. Preferable on weekends when every other bar is packed.
Really dope spot. Hidden behind a door in the back of a small art gallery .
Disguised as an art museum enter through the back door for a great little speakeasy .
First off, the bathrooms smell like magic. Good smelling magic.
Cocktails , DJ Scotty Pippen, Music , Bartender , nice crowd
The atmosphere and the cocktails were all terrific. I like how the speakeasy is tucked behind an art gallery .
If there on a Sunday , sit st the bar . Ned the bartender super friendly !
It's behind the art gallery ! Sundays are the best times to go .. not packed but enough ppl to make it lively .
Cute little date bar for weekdays. Go in through the art gallery next to Home Sweet Home.
Show your ID to the bouncer, walk to the back left of the gallery and open the door. Order a Vanishing Point. Don’t order shots, they were $9 each.
NY's best speakeasy . Amazing drinks, reasonable noise, good crowd.
Tasty cocktails and a chill vibe. Recommend to anyone with a taste for well crafted drinks.
Never fails to impress/surprise. Gets really crowded yet somehow not hard to grab a seat. Cocktails are pretty good too.
Inventive, perfectly made cocktails in a calm , mature, pleasant atmosphere . A new favorite.
On top of being hidden in the back of an art gallery , it's located on a rather bland stretch of Chrystie Street. It's easy to walk right by Fig 19 and miss it, especially if the bouncer isn't outside.
Go through the gallery door above home sweet home, and it's at the left door on the back wall.
Had the apricot prosecco drink. Very sweet and very good. Came early w micha.
Hidden spot - great mezcal negroni
Yea it's cool to sneak in thru an art gallery but the sexy music is what's really good
When they close, don't go out all the way, the silver door to the left at the exit will lead you downstairs to home sweet home
Behind the art gallery lies the inconspicuous white door to delicious cocktails ;) Try the Rose Selavy .
Through an art gallery , this place serves up incredibly good cocktails . Slightly more mature crowd.
Get there through the art gallery . Stay for the drinks. Finnish up with Home Sweet Home.
Try the Rhapsody in Rye followed by the Ginger Sling. Both deliciously complex and full of flavor.
You gotta try Midnight in Paris ! I don't even like tequila , but it's my fav drink here.
Love love it here! Gorgeous, intimate , sexy space! Cocktails are awesome and proseccho on tap !
Okay...imagine an Anthropolgie morphed into a bar and you've got the gist of Fig 19. SPECTACULAR place for a single woman to celebrate her 30th.
Awesome drinks, but don't come on a Friday or Saturday. Takes nearly 20 minutes to get a drink.
Warm cozy space for delicious cocktails . Who doesn't love taxidermy and wax works?
Hard to find!! Inside is small but good music ! Usually there’s never a line !
Very cool secret bar behind an art gallery !
Delicious bespoke drinks and a cool hidden exterior. Loved the beekeeper drink I had with bourbon and honey. An intimate space that's great for a date or catching up with an old friend. - Ranu Rajkarnikar
An awesome speakeasy in the EV. Be sure to go early though as the line can get long. If you ball hard, get bottle service. It's well worth it here! - Desirée MacDonald
Great cocktails and a low key vibe. Was there on a random Monday and they had a live jazz band and serious dancing. Legit - Bob Gearing
I've been coming here for over a decade now, and it's still one of the best places to see a show that I've ever been to. - Jeff Petriello
