Captiva Beach

A great spot to watch the sunset . Parking in the lot is $2/hr. Try parking at Doc Fords and walking over.

Claim spot early and keep chairs and umbrella there all day even if you leave and return. Access beach near library (path next to cemetery ) for sunset view without crowds at Mucky Duck .

My favorite area of the island is near The Mucky Duck . Plus, every time we go, we bring our pugs. Dare I say that they're dog friendly ? 

Great beach ! Not a destination for seashells .. $25 parking for 2 hours or $40 for all day. Pricey !!!

Captiva is a beautiful island , but It appears as if they want to keep the general public at bay . Only found 1 very tiny parking area for the public at $5 for a min 2 hrs & outhouses were disgusting.

One car park and too many people. You have to stay for a minimum of 2 hours which is $5. You decide.

Keep your eyes out for dolphins!! Whenever there are dolphins - it's safe to swim !

Nice chair and umbrella rentals. Great sunset views . Watch for green flash when sky clear and sun yellow

Sanibel beach parking stickers DO NOT WORK in Captiva! You must pay at this beach .

Nice clean beach , don't forget the sun block!

Wearing lots of sunscreen is a must. You will tan quickly.

There is limited parking . Portajohns and trash cans are in the parking lot .
