Best in Philly. Tried their courses last year. $150/person is a little pricey but for Zama, every cent your cost is worthwhile. Best if you have a girl friend, go there. Lol
The shortrib dish is a beautiful thing. The dark cube of Kirin Ichiban-braised beef wears a miso-mustard glaze patterned wavey stripes that wouldn’t be out of place in a French pastry case. Read more
Best sushi in Philly. Order the Zama sake it is delicious. I had Japanese uni for the first time here and it may have been the best single bite of sushi in my life. Also get the paiche tempura .
Flashbacks of my best childhood memories, instantaneous comfort and pure relaxation are the first things that occurred when Zama's miso soup graced the taste buds of my mouth.
Do not leave here without ordering the Bronzizzle roll . Also if the tuna tataki special is available get it. You will not be disappointed!
Amazing service, everything tastes incredibly fresh and the flavors are phenomenal. Get the bronzizzle!!
Can't get enough of this place.. Love Zama.. The salmon skin , hamachi Kama and all other morsels are just amazing!
Get famous and this place will eventually have a sushi roll named after you. Until then, purchase another celebrity's roll and some of the proceeds will go to charity . How about that? Read more
Best sushi in the country . No exaggeration. Get the Black Belt sushi combo.
I must say, everything is good here. Go for a black belt sushi selection
Delicious and beautiful sushi and food
I liked the multigrain rice option for sushi rolls but have never see such a small amount of fish in/on the rolls. Would never order sushi here again. Was here once and it was just ok, tried again.
Sitting at the sushi bar allows you to watch the sushi chefs first-hand; plus it gets you even closer to the sake .
holy bronzizzle! don't miss it. the wasabi tuna roll is an excellent complement.
Pretty good sushi and ambiance!
Delicious spot with lots of unique sushi rolls !
Best sushi I've had.. Very fresh .. Sesame cheesecake is outrageous
Amazing food & service. Do the tasting menu if you can swing it!

Great food & service. Very unique and reasonably prices sushi . Must try: Bronzizzle. Don't let the Zagat dollar signs fool you, good prices.

Sorry but Heather is wrong.... Zama is the best spot in town . The food is delish and the service is excellent.
Amazing place. Get the shortrib--the meat pulls apart like a Chop Stick! Or, just ask Zama to go wild and he will make you something unbelievable.
Get the Surfer roll. Excellent.
Best sushi in the city of Philadelphia (not suburbs).
Reasonable prices during Restaurant Week. Otherwise, there are better sushi places at the pries they normally ask for
Try the wishing well sake . It's amazing :) :)
Try the shrimp and eel fiesta! It's really like a party in your mouth! It was recommended by our fabulous server Cameron!
One of the best sushi places in the city . Great japanese micro brews . Try the yellowtail jalapeño mango roll .

Server Roxanne is the BEST, ask for her. She recommended the Bronzino Roll and it was AMAZING...
Service is slow and can sometimes be forgetful, so sit at the sushi bar for an expedited meal.
Spicy crunchy rolls
$26 for the 12 saddest little pinky sized pieces of fish . This wouldn't be more than $16 anywhere else. Stay away!
Great sushi but the service is the worst in the city .
