Obelisco Macuteo is a monument Rome Latium located in Italy.

One of a pair with the Matteiano, it was found on the grounds of the Iseum near the church of San Macuto in 1373, where it was re-erected, untill Clemens XI put it in front of the Pantheon in 1711.

Originally from the Mausoleum of Augustus, paired with the Esquiline obelisk. Found in 1527, it was erected by Pius VI in 1786 on the piazza in front of the papal summer palace, Palazzo Quirinale. - Anne vdB
